How do you know, when you swipe right, if it's worth it? This is how... Katlin and Alex, both mingling online, came to find one another; they MATCHED! The only hiccup was that Alex was 4,000 miles away on a little island, O'ahu. Overtime, they came to know one another and Alex popped the big question and asked Katlin to come visit him across the country. If you know Katlin, she had never been on a plane but for the first time that year for spring break, and this was totally not the same! BUT, she did not hesitate and was on a flight to see him within the next month. It was truly love at first visit! From there, the relationship blossomed and the long distance adventure continued...

Two years later, and a whole lot of traveling in between, Alex and Katlin move to Nevada where Alex is stationed. Katlin just KNEW he was going to ask her any day now. Alex messaged Katlin's good friend around June of 2022 and asked about doing a photoshoot of the two of them when they return home to see Katlin's family. Katlin's friend then managed to subtly ask Katlin about it and planned the photoshoot. Yay! She had no idea what was about to happen. Meanwhile, Alex's nerves grow more and more as we get closer to the date. Two months later in August, the time has come and the weather was HORRIBLE. But, we managed to still make it happen. Katlin thought this was just a regular photoshoot for her friend's inventory, but if only she knew she would leave as an engaged woman. They walked all over a park taking photos and finally at the very end, BOOM, Alex pops the question. And as you all know at this point, Katlin said YES!
