We taught at the same school while also being in the same Masters program at Buffalo State. Through this and working on our thesis project together, we became close friends! During a friends trip to an away Buffalo Bills game in Pittsburgh, we realized we wanted to be more than friends!

Tony told me that we were going to his work holiday party at Marcy's Casino. While walking near Hoyt Lake, Tony got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! We were so excited to spread the news to our friends and family and were going to visit them one-by-one. Little did I know that Tony had our family and friends (many flew in from out of town!) waiting for us to celebrate together. We were so happy to share this moment with our friends and family!

Originally, The Schoellkopf Powerhouse at Buffalo Color Park was constructed in 1917 as a world leading manufacturer of dyes and colorants for the textile industry, fueling a century of engineering and industrial advancement. After being vacant, Rich's Entertainment Group renovated this vast space into a beautiful wedding venue keeping some of the original features.
