What kind of weather should we expect in L.A. in November?
Answer
Ahh, the million dollar question. As of right now (1 week out) it looks like the weekend will be sunny and cool (low of 50, high of 70). We suggest you pack layers!

What the heck do we wear? Your dress code is completely unhelpful.
Answer
For the Welcome Reception on Friday: we'll be outside and by the beach. Expect it to be breezy. Ladies might want a light jacket or shawl over casual dresses / slacks. Guys -- a nice shirt and slacks. No tie necessary -- but you may want a coat or sweater if it's chilly! For the Ceremony & Reception on Saturday: Cocktail attire. Cocktail dresses, suits + ties, please! The ceremony & cocktail hour will be in the garden -- but on a paved surface, so your heels will be OK. Then we'll move inside for the reception.

What time will shuttles leave for Redbird on Saturday?
Answer
Shuttles will depart from both the Marriott and Shutters at 3pm sharp on Saturday. As of right now, we'll have 1 shuttle at Shutters and 2 at the Marriott. If there are any additional guests at Shutters who still need a ride, the second shuttle will swing by and pick you up!

When will shuttles head back to Santa Monica after the wedding?
Answer
From 9:30pm to 11pm, shuttles will be available to return guests to Shutters and the Marriott. At 11pm, there will also be a shuttle to take guests to the afterparty, should you wish to keep the night going.

What if I want to drive myself instead?
Answer
Complimentary valet will be available at Shutters on Friday (if you let the attendant know you are here for the Varney/Geary Reception). Complimentary valet will be available at Redbird on Saturday. That said: if you plan to drive yourself, please don't plan to drink!

What's the deal with the afterparty?
Answer
Katie + Aaron plan to head to a nearby favorite bar in DTLA after the formal reception, with anyone who wants to join! A shuttle will be available to take guests to the afterparty -- but please note that everyone opting to stay downtown will need to find their own way home at the end of the night.
