Abby and Katie have known each other since Middle School when they lived less than a block from each other in Wyoming, Ohio. Their friendship grew into a sisterhood in college and they have been best friends ever since. Abby is a beautiful and talented artist, singer, writer and creator. She lives in Nashville, TN and besides working on her solo career as "Bleach Bath," she is also a member of Dashboard Confessional and performs with her brother Ruston Kelly! She is the most amazing mother to her son Max who is the cutest, smartest and sweetest little dude that ever lived! Ask Abby about the straightedge shows she's dragged Katie too.

Derek Quinn

Best Man

Matt has known Derek since 3rd grade. They met during a class exercise about the Pilgrims. The teacher put them into a “boat” with a few other classmates and they had to decide what they were going to bring with them in order to survive in the new world. Most of the kids in the boat said water and bread. Derek said it was crucial that they bring goat cheese and tartar sauce. Matt thought it was hilarious and they’ve been best friends ever since. Derek and Matt’s friendship is rooted in their love of travel, Guardians baseball, video production and various kinds of gear. Ask Derek about the time he flew to visit Matt in New York City, lost his wallet and phone and stowed away in an Amtrak train bathroom to Philadelphia.

Holly Shafer

Holly (aka Curtis) has been an original ride or die bestie to Katie. Along with Katie, she makes up 1/2 of the duo known as the "Cheese Girls." She has been one of Katie's best friends since their time together at Wyoming High School. There isn't a problem in the world that she and Katie couldn't solve together. Holly has a big heart, a smile that lights up the room and is a dear friend. She is also a talented creative director, graphic designer, brand manager, and one of the hardest working people we know! She and her brother Cameron are taking over the merch market one day at a time at OTO Supply Co. based in Cincinnati, OH. Ask Holly about why we call her Curtis.

Sam Edmunds

Sam is the guy in Matt's friend group who likes Phish. He has spent time as a standup comedian, professional wrestler and a marathon runner. Matt’s first memory of Sam is on the baseball field during little league. Matt was on second base when he looked over at the shortstop on the opposing team. Sam was dancing around like a mad man between pitches. He stopped his feet, looked up at Matt and exclaimed “I had too much Kool-Aid!” Since that day, Sam and Matt have traveled to over 10 countries together including one incredible four year stretch when they realized they were just kind of annually taking island vacations together. Ask Sam about the time Derek scalded his leg with boiling hot water while they were casually taking a bath together in an AirBnb in Dublin, Ireland.

Rachel Bryant

For Katie's entire life the one thing she was always missing was a sister. When she met Matt's sister Rachel for a lady date at Roh's Coffee shop in Clifton, Katie knew she had met a soul sister for life. Rachel has been the best confidant and caring seester that Katie could have ever dreamed of. Rachel is incredibly creative, has the most amazing sense of humor and is beautiful inside and out. Not to mention she is a talented crafter/creator and caring nurse. Ask Rachel about her burglary bag or about the Boysenberry boys!

Andrew Bryant

Andrew is Matt’s brother in-law. Andrew and Matt share a love for YouTube, beer and those mini basketball hoops you can put on the back of a door. Andrew has a gift that allows him to correctly guess the year any movie was made (within 3 years). Ask him when your favorite movie was made!

Grace Kwon

Katie met Grace shortly after she moved to NYC, so they have known each other just about as long as Katie has known Matt. Their friendship is based in fashion, food, travel and making fun of their partners for the extremely stupid stuff they do (Grace is married to Tom, one of Matt's groomsmen). She is momma to the most wonderful pup, Pancake, and has an awesome nightly routine where the screen she is interacting with progressively shrinks as she moves from TV, to laptop, to iPad, to iPhone, to sleep. She is also an incredibly talented Director of Location Scouting (and member of the Director's Guild of America!) and has probably brought on one of your favorite movies or TV series to life. Tom Lew

Matt met Tom when he moved to New York City the first time for his internship with the Miss Universe Organization. While on location in Las Vegas for a pageant they went to play craps and gamble away their per diem checks. The pit boss checked their IDs and informed them they were born on the same day on the same year. Years later, Matt and Tom became roommates and moved to Brooklyn together where they founded their rental photography studio, Egg Studios. They have traveled the country and world together for work and share a passion for buying camera gear and putting too much salt on Indian food. Ask Tom about the time that Matt completely wiped all of the data off Tom’s laptop during a work dinner in front of a bunch of executives. Oopsie!

Delaney Foerster

Delaney is Katie's cousin on her mother's side. Katie and Laney have a small age gap between them but it has never kept them from feeling like family. Delaney lives in San Diego, CA and is a talented editor for a publishing company. Delaney cares about the world and is passionate about supporting causes that are important to her. She is truly an inspiration to Katie. She also has the most wonderful boyfriend Connor and together they have the sweetest pup named Bella! It is a dream come true to have her as a bridesmaid. Ask Laney about the time Katie took her to an EDM rave at Brooklyn Mirage!

Andrew Blake

Matt met Andrew (we all call him Blake) in high school during their period 4/5 Spanish class with Mrs. Shanklin. Both of them probably regret how they acted in the class and we won’t get into specifics but let’s just say Mrs. Shanklin retired at the end of that school year. Matt and Andrew ran cross country together in high school, attended Ohio University together and have continued their friendship through their love of music, sports, photography and the outdoors. More recently Andrew lost a DEVASTATING fantasy football matchup to Matt in which Andrew bafflingly had 0 available quarterbacks in a super flex league. Ask Andrew about “The Promise.”

Jordan is the sweetest! She is Katie's second cousin on her father's side. Jordan is a sophomore at the University of Kentucky and is heavily involved in her sorority Alpha Delta Pi. She is easy going, stylish and is a joy to be around. Ask Jordan about her love of the Cincinnati Bearcats!

Mark Mantyla

As Matt’s older cousin, Mark has always been a part of Matt’s life. However, their relationship didn’t really start until a specific game of hide and seek in the late 90s. Matt and Mark set the ground rules for the game - no hiding in vehicles. Matt and Mark proceeded to do exactly that, hiding in Matt’s parents van for over an hour while the third kid they were playing with walked around the front yard shouting “I give up,” over and over. After Matt graduated from OU he moved in with Mark in Chicago where they started a video production company and produced commercials for the Chicago Sky, Chicago's WNBA team. Ask Mark about the time when he and Matt were little when he set his watch 4 hours ahead to make Matt think he was never going to see his parents again.

Jessica McKay

As Katie's older cousin, Jessica was always the closest thing Katie ever had to a sister. Katie would visit Jessica in college at Chico State in California where they would go out dancing together. Jessica lives in Philadelphia and she and Katie try to see each other as often as they can. Katie was one of Jessica's bridesmaids and Katie is honored to have Jessica as one of hers. Ask Jessica about the first time Katie drank alcohol.

Ben Oakland

Ben is a former StarCraft 2 1v1 Masters player. Matt met Ben in high school where they bonded over their passion for playing guitar, World of Warcraft and sports. They have been in the same fantasy baseball league together for over 15 years and neither of them has ever won, but they’re both thinking this might be the year. Ben and Matt both went to Ohio University and love the Browns, Guardians and the Ben Avery shooting range. Ask Ben about the RCA Dome.

Amanda Williams

Amanda is one of the most funny, kind and sweet New Yorkers you could EVER meet! Amanda is a fashionista and runs one of the most successful Dior stores in the heart of Manhattan. She and her husband Darrenn (groomsman) are mom and dad to the sweet cat Porkchop, and are also some of Matt and Katie's closest friends.

Darrenn Williams

Darrenn is objectively Matt’s coolest friend. He was one of Matt’s first roommates when he moved to NYC, and Darrenn was the guy who was really the first one to show Matt around. Darrenn works in the fashion industry and Matt takes pride in the fact that since moving to NYC he has only ever bought clothes using one of Darrenn’s discounts (except for one two year stretch referred to as the “Dark Years” when Darrenn worked for BCBG, a retailer that only sells women's clothing). Their friendship is rooted in their love for video games, booking international trips on a whim (they’ve been on four bachelor parties together) and never payin’ full price for nothin’. Ask Darrenn about the smell at the bottom of his and Matt’s apartment in Weehawken, NJ. Was it the radiator or his cat Porkchop?
