Don't think we can embed or even hyperlink on Zola (rats), but here's a 7-minutes-or-so video from our wedding done by the amazing Hallie Vasseur: https://vimeo.com/472850006 {We'll post one later that has full ceremony too.}
We initially met in August '17 at an Alliance for Children event off Vickery Avenue; Katie was checking in guests. We hung out a few times between August and October, but in mid-October '17, we connected at a Cornhole (bean bags) Tournament for the same organization and have been together since. We got engaged in 2020 on the night before the bars/restaurants closed for the second time because of COVID. And now begins the real adventure :)
Because we're not entirely sure what 2021 looks like at this point in terms of gatherings, we decided to try and do this in essentially "stages," with a family and local friends stage coming first, in October '20. Depending on how the early part of '21 unfolds, we may have a Northeast (Ted is from NYC) gathering as well, and if we can swing a big, true "Dance to Shout" style party in '21, we're gonna try. But we wanted to put it forth before a very weird year for society comes to a close in front of loved ones.
