We’re getting married!

Little did we know that our journey would begin at a mutual friends birthday party. Neither of us were looking for love but it’s funny how Cupid works his magic. We really hit it off while opponents on the corn hole boards. Considering we both have a competitive edge, there was plenty of smack talk and laughs. After winning the first game and many failed attempts after, Katie made the decision to join forces with Scott and the rest was history. We want to thank our friends for throwing a heck of a birthday party and helping start our relationship. Could’ve have done it without y’all!

Fast forward to our engagement weekend that was filled with multiple celebrations. Not only were we celebrating Scott’s birthday weekend bouncing around the Georgia wineries, but little did Katie know Scott had something else up his sleeve, literally and figuratively. The last stop on the tour was at Wolf Mountain, which is a special place because that’s where Katie and Scott celebrated their first anniversary. With our friends front and center and family hiding in the back, Scott somehow held his balance to get down on one knee and asked Katie to marry him. The roars of the crowd could be heard throughout the winery when she said yes! Again we’d like to thank our friends and family for making our engagement weekend one for the books!
