Local Region Tour

We have arranged for a local guide, Rick, to lead those who have already arrived around the town and out into the local area to get acquainted with what the Eastern Shore of the Chesapeake Bay has to offer. We will see Rock Hall Harbour, Eastern Neck National Wildlife Refuge, views out over the Chesapeake Bay, and head into the historic town of Chestertown for a little browsing. We'll take a couple of easy walks while hearing about some of the history and the beauty that drew the Maunders to the area!

Totally Casual!

We are right next to the water and a small beach, which are also part of the Rock Hall Yacht Club, and we will have some recreational water sports "stuff" available, including our deck boat/runabout, paddle boards, kayaks and we're hoping the Yacht club pool will be open too. We'll also have garden games for those with (or without) a competitive spirit. We'll be providing sandwiches, snacks and drinks for everyone who comes by.

Wedding

4:00 pm - 11:00 pm

The wedding party and families will be wearing suits and fairly formal attire, everyone else can come as they wish (within reason!!)

The wedding ceremony will start at 4:00pm and be held under an awning on the back deck of the Yacht Club. Following the wedding ceremony, there will be a cocktail and appetizer hour from 4:30pm to 5:30pm, with an open bar for the rest of the evening, and with wine served at dinner. The reception/dinner will start at around 5:45, with speeches and general banter, and a buffet dinner. There will also be vegetarian and vegan options. Dancing and frivolity will follow and go on until 11:00 pm and the bar will then stay open until 12pm for whomever wants to continue at the after-party.
