We're getting married!

We met in our brass methods course during sophomore year at Florida State University. I immediately developed a huge crush on Patch because he was handsome and had the most infectious laugh. I kept my crush to myself, so we stayed friends throughout our undergraduate degrees and had lots of fun memories together. After graduating, while I was in my first year teaching, he and I started talking a lot more. When the pandemic hit, we would talk while he drove for Domino's and while I was teaching virtually, which helped pass the time. We talked about all kinds of things, but most notably, we spent a lot of time sharing our love of music with one another. As the Spring semester neared an end, he decided he would come visit me in St. Petersburg, Florida, where I was living at the time. During that visit, we expressed our desire to be together but ultimately decided not to date as Patch was about to start his master's degree in Ohio. Two years passed by, and our paths crossed again when we and some mutual friends decided to plan a beach trip after not seeing each other for a while. It was love at first sight for Patch and this time, he kept his feelings to himself for the first few days. After those first two days, he couldn't hold it in any longer and let me know that he still felt strongly for me. We talked for hours each night on the trip, and on the very last day, he asked me to be his girlfriend. Two years later, we are engaged, and we CANNOT WAIT to share our special day with you all!
