Question

Day of Events

Answer

Our Ceremony will be held at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Hicksville at 3 P.M. Our Reception will be held at the Swan Club on The Harbor in Roslyn with cocktail hour beginning at 6:30 P.M.

Question

Hotel Accommodations

Answer

We have hotel blocks available at The Roslyn, Tapestry Collection by Hilton in Roslyn (see Travel section for more details.) This hotel is less than a 10 minute drive to the reception. Blocks are available on a first come, first serve basis so please book in advance if you know you will need a room! There will be time between the ceremony and the reception to check in should you need to do so. This is the only hotel we coordinated room blocks with, however, there are many other hotels in the area. Some are listed on the travel section of our website for your convenience. There are others not listed should you want to explore your options more.

Question

Shuttle Service

Answer

A complimentary shuttle service will be available from The Roslyn, Tapestry Collection by Hilton at the start of the cocktail hour as well as at the end of the reception. Please be mindful to be promptly ready should you plan to take advantage of the shuttle either way.

Question

Plus Ones & Children

Answer

We want to celebrate with as many loved ones as we can! But unfortunately for room capacity reasons, we need to have some limitations. We are unable to accommodate additional guests, beyond those listed on the invitation. This includes plus ones and children that are not in our immediate family.

Question

RSVP

Answer

We've opted to take online RSVPs only. There will not be a paper RSVP to send back in your invitation. Please see the RSVP section of our website to formally let us know if we can expect to celebrate with you.

Question

Attire

Answer

Semi-Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses.

Question

Will there be traditional Greek music & dancing?

Answer

Absolutely! If you are not familiar with Greek dancing, then here is a short video on the steps to dance Kalamatiano. This will be the main dance of the evening. Copy and paste the link in your browser to view the video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yq1kxg1Jii0
