Katie and Meagan have known each other since elementary school, but they didn't get as close as they are now until high school when they did choir and theatre together. They quickly bonded over their shared weirdness and inside jokes. Katie thinks Meagan is courageous and silly and loves how she is a true and loyal friend. Meagan lives in New York City with her boyfriend John and their two cats. Says Meagan: "I can’t even try to contain my excitement for Katie and Brian. I am so incredibly honored to be able to stand next to my dear Katie at her wedding. This is going to be the best celebration EVER. "

Nick and Brian met in middle school and bonded over Star Wars cards and endless stupid jokes in Nick’s basement. The friendship has only deepened over the years, with too many good memories and inside jokes to count. Brian truly couldn’t imagine what his life would be like without Nick, and counts him as one of the most loyal, kind and hilarious people he knows. Nick is a coast guard Captain, & though they don’t always find themselves in the same geographic location, they always pick up right where they left off. When not protecting the nation, Nick lives in Texas with his wife Larissa, and their son Quentin. "We've been through quite a bit since we met on Tanager and it's very special to me that you and Katie are allowing me to contribute to your day. Gamefaces on, let's do this thing."

Kate and Katie met during High School and quickly bonded. They made up their own traditions, like skipping senior bash and instead listening to Secret Garden and falling asleep on the trampoline under the stars. They called each other wife until Kate married the love of her life Peter (they still call each other wife though, shh). Katie loves everything about Kate, but especially how she is a true and loyal friend, how she approaches all challenges in her life with kindness and understanding, and how she is honestly one of the most effortlessly stylish people Katie has ever met. Kate and her husband live in Ann Arbor. Says Kate: "I am most excited to see Katie beaming and dancing in her wedding dress! And to celebrate Katie and Brian's love with so many wonderful people"

Brad was one of the 1st friends Brian made when moving to PA at age 12. Brad has a unique talent for taking a one-off joke or remark and running with it; Brian thinks Brad is one of the funniest people he knows. They’ve kept in touch through weekend meetups & ski trips as Brad has made his way through college, med school, and residency. Brad lives in Baltimore with his girlfriend Cassie, and his new puppy Zelda. Brad says, "I have enjoyed being part of Brian and Katie's relationship so far, and am honored and excited to be standing with them as they take this amazing next step in the relationship! I am also hoping that when Brian receives his wedding ring, that he will return my ring from my Lord of the Rings Risk game that Brian has kept secret and safe for over 15 years."
Amanda Winston

Katie and Amanda met at Butler University where they were both studying theatre. Katie loves how down to earth Amanda is, and how she's one of the strongest people she knows. Katie thinks Amanda is an amazing and caring friend. Katie, Brian, Lauren, Amanda, and her husband Jonah are part of the Bamboozlers, a steadfast group of friends and adventurers who solve problems with charisma checks and (when those inevitably fail) kicking something really hard. Amanda lives in Chicago with her husband Jonah (Bridesman) and their dog Dr. Watson. Says Amanda: "There is no higher honor I can think of than being in Katie's Bridesguard. She's one of my favorite people, I can't wait to see her marry the love of her life - Booaloo!"

Ross and Brian first met at the legendary Frazier LAN parties while they were both in middle school in State College. As the years went on, they found out they had more in common than just video games, especially during their shared trips to the Jazzy Cabin, an annual ski trip. Brian thinks Ross is ridiculously clever, has a knack for fun times, and is among the best to have a long winding conversation with. Ross lives in State College, PA, and joins Brian for weekly online D&D sessions.
Jonah Winston

Jonah and Katie met at Butler University where they were both studying theatre. Katie loves how Jonah can instantly appreciate a good word association (Ron Pearlman, Prawn Realman, Baz Luhrmann). She also loves how he is honest, and fun, and always looks out for his friends. Jonah, Katie, Brian, Amanda, and bridesmaid Lauren are all Bamboozlers-the rootinest, tootinest, treasure chest lootinest gang this side of the Rio Grande. Jonah lives in Chicago with his wife, Amanda (Bridesmaid) and their dog, Dr. Watson. Jonah says: Jonah is SUPER stoked to be a part of the Bride's Guard! Jonah loves Katie like she is his sister from another mister and he cannot wait to see her tie the knot with B.K., whom Jonah loves like a brother from another mother. Pete and Brian have been fast friends since middle school, sharing many interests and bonding through unorthodox high school lunches outdoors. Since then, they’ve made many memories - the Jazzy Cabin, lake hangouts at “Summer Splash,” and endless good times online playing games. Brian thinks Pete is fiercely loyal, has a deep well of compassion for others, and always knows how to have a good time. Pete joins Brian for weekly D&D sessions and many other online games. Pete lives in Portland, OR with a fun group of roommates and easy access to the best beer in town.
Lauren Atkinson

Katie and Lauren met in Chicago. Katie thinks Lauren is honestly one of the coolest people she's ever met, loves her sense of adventure, and her ability to keep a cool head in times of chaos. Katie, Brian, Jonah, Amanda, and Lauren are a part of the Bamboozlers with Lauren's husband Justin, friends Brad and Kristina, Katie and Matt, and, Jeff and Emily. The Bamboozlers are the trash pandas of the roleplaying world and if you don't wants it they takes it. Lauren lives in Chicago with her husband Justin and their dog Indigo. Lauren says: I am beyond excited to take up the mantle of bridesguard for Katie! Watching her and Brian and the love they share has been a joy and it is an honor to help them take this next step together. To us and no one else; boo-a-loo!

“Mince” and Brian met in high school, but only became good friends attending Penn State University, where they lived on the same floor in Simmonds Hall. After college, different paths led both Tyler and Brian to Chicago, where they and Tyler’s now-wife Shannon spent many fun years exploring the city and making memories. Brian thinks Tyler is an effortless leader, crazy goof and thoughtful listener, often in the span of a single evening. Brian and Katie catch up with Tyler and others at an annual PSU football gathering at “The Lodge.” Tyler lives and works in Pittsburgh with his wife Shannon and new daughter Nora. Says Mince, "I couldn't be more excited to spend the day celebrating two of my best friends and their future together."
David Utterback
Brother of the Bride
Katie and David used to pretend to be twins when they flew as unaccompanied minors so that David could get out of the flight attendant wrist grabbing. Not only was David approximately the same size as Katie, but they also share a mind meld not unlike that of psychic twins. Their silly inside jokes have always been enough to annoy everyone around them and the love they have for each other can get them and their family through anything. Katie loves how David is sweet and silly, loyal and caring, and very good company. David lives in Madison, WI with his cat Mowmow. Says David: "It’s difficult to express how much joy it brings my heart to see my sister so happy."
Rachel Krasnopolsky

Brian and Rachel started as inseparables, but grew up as rivals; like the cool type of rivals where you begrudgingly respect what the other was able to get away with. As they grew older, they grew closer and found that they loved spending time making each other laugh. Now living in the same city, they are looking forward to frequent family time and visits with Rachel’s son, Luca. Brian thinks Rachel is incredible, lovely and hilarious; and knows to rely on her for a laugh when the joke’s gone over everybody else’s head. Rachel lives in Chicago with her husband Moises, son Luca, two dogs and a cat. Says Rachel: "I wouldn't have been able to dream up a more perfect woman for my brother. I'm so excited to be able to call her my sister, and I cant wait to celebrate their day with them"
