Megan Bray

Matron of Honor

She's the older sister. Her style is impeccable and some would argue she has the best moves on the dance floor. She is the mother to one of Katie's 4 young nephews, Hudson (aka Big City Hud!). Megan has always been there with Katie through thick and thin. If you need advice, she will definitely give you a straightforward answer, so be ready! Megan has also known Justin since the younger years and used to carpool with him to Central High School. As they say, it's a small world!

Jason Brown

Best Man

Justin and Jason. This dynamic duo began their adventures in the late 1900s, nearly 30 years ago in Maumelle. With vivid clarity most of my favorite memories Justin is right there beside me laughing hysterically together. We have shared numerous adventures biking through maumelle, our disdain for trees (Ok… My disdain for trees.), creating our own sports and games. We also worked up ways to make money together collecting goofballs from the country club. There is so much more I could say about him. But I've been limited on word count. I’ll leave that for the ceremony. I know that Justin is as good as they come and I feel honored and blessed to have him as a Brother and friend. Can’t wait to celebrate with you both.

Alex (Fudge) McCloy

Bridesmaid

It all started in 1992 at Mother's Day Out in Maumelle. Mrs. Jeanna (Fudge's Mom) was Katie & Fudge's teacher in the 3 year old class and said "the two of them just gravitated to each other." Katie and Fudge instantly became best friends and were attached at the hip through the 90s. Even though Fudge moved away in 6th grade, they have stayed connected throughout the years and always picked right back up where they left off. There have been endless adventures between the two and a whole lot of laughs. There is never a dull moment when you are hanging out with Fudge! She is a new mother to baby Oliva, who is already taking after her mom by making some of the silliest and cutest faces you have ever seen. Just ask to see the Christmas Card!

Chad Berry

Groomsman

Justin’s brother from another mother. After spending a short time as rivals on the 9th grade basketball team, Chad and Justin have been best friends for over 20 years. How close are they you ask? In high school, Chad and Justin road more miles together than apart, Justin has helped Chad move at least 3 times, and outside of Fayetteville, Justin has spent more time in Oxford than any other college town. While the debate about who’s a better hooper has never been settled, the duo are undefeated on the dance floor. One could argue that most of the success in their lives has come from their superior dancing ability. Chad settled in Mississippi and has 3 kids, but neither time nor distance has kept these friends apart. Bound by their faith and love for one another, Chad and Justin are truly brothers from another mother.

Jesse Godinez

Bridesman

Friendships are an interesting concept. One day you meet a random person and decide "yup, I like this one." Then you bond over something as simple as music and become lifelong friends. Jesse met Katie as a coworker during her time in Seattle, they survived Covid, and became family.

Rusty Passini

Groomsman

*Proceed with caution* Junior high science teacher, high school baseball coach, husband, dad, shepherd. One of Lonoke County's finest cat herders. 2007 Arkansas Rock, Paper, Scissors State Champion. Rusty Passini has been in education for the last 14 years, using a group of guys in a room just thinking s**t up to mold & shape young minds to become their generation's Harry Stamper. But the journey has not always been smooth. The Great Scissor Incident in the year of our Lord 2012 had numerous individuals questioning whether or not Rusty Passini was fit for education. With a series of modifications, & again a room full of guys, Rusty grew to become a warrior. FF. Rusty & Justin coached at their alma mater (LRCHS skew-woooo) for 6 years together. While coaching at Central might have been the opportunity of a lifetime, neither of them ended up wanting that life. Justin went to chase his dreams in the entrepreneurial arts, & Rusty moved to Cabot…. Rusty has been married to his beautiful wife, & the Ministainer of the ceremony, Kimberly. They have two fruits of their passions: daughter Emma and son Dirty Joseph. Rusty & Kimberly consider themselves honored to be a part of Justin & Katie’s special day. Kimberly & (especially) Rusty come with their own disclaimers. Their family has decided to apologize in advance for anything that may or may not happen at the wedding. Congrats. You guys smell terrific

Dr. Jim & Pat Russell

Father & Mother of the Bride

Papa Jim and Momma Pat are the hosts of our eventful week. They have dealt with Katie, Megan, and Fudge's shenanigans since the beginning. So give them a pat on the back when you see them! These days you can find Papa Jim on a cruise ship to Antarctica, exploring the most remote and beautiful part of the world. Momma Pat is not a fan of 20 ft. waves, so she sticks to the calm Danube River Cruises. They are both full time Grandparents to 5 grandsons, 1 granddaughter, and 1 great-granddaughter, 5 of which are all under 3 years old!

For all the days along the way
