There's something to be said for someone who is always willing to travel from deep in Brooklyn for sports or a dinner with the boys, but never has an expectation of anything in return. A true glass half full guy, he is forever optimistic despite being a Detroit sports fan.

Burgess and my friendship began in middle school, which means we have more awkward photos and embarrassing memories than we can count. Over the years, we've collected even more memories – from our exchange program in France to years of NYC roommate life. Burge is one of the most thoughtful and caring people I know, and she always shows up for her friends. And when we're together, we're usually laughing.

He's never one to take life too seriously - it might be a joke one minute, and an "I love you" the next - Sharif has a keen interest in ensuring he and everyone he meets is happy and having a good time.

Jamey was one of my first friends at Swerve. We immediately bonded over our love for fitness and the strength we've found from facing life's challenges. We've completed 3 half Ironmans together and there's no question in my mind that Jamey has made me stronger – as an athlete, friend, and woman.

Scott may just be the most fun person I have ever met. Numerous times, we have been in a crowded bar and someone will take umbrage at some aspect of Scott's larger than life personality; every single darn time, Scott will be having a beer with that person within the hour - new temporary best friends. He's just that kinda guy.
