The Westin Hilton Head Island Resort & Spa

All wedding weekend events are at the Westin, with the exception of the ceremony. Shuttle

Roundtrip shuttle from the Westin to the Ceremony at St. Francis

October 19, 2019 1:15 pm - 3:00 pm

A shuttle to and from the ceremony will be provided for guests without cars or other transportation (50 seats). The shuttle will depart from outside the Westin at 1:20 PM for the ceremony and return guests to the Westin afterwards around 3 PM. Please be outside the main Westin doors by 1:15 PM to catch the shuttle and outside the front doors of the church after the ceremony for the return trip.

Flight

Savannah International Airport OR Hilton Head Island Airport

Flying into Savannah airport (SAV) is typically less expensive because they offer direct flights from many major cities and with more flights on a variety of airlines. It is only a 45 minute to 1 hour drive from the Savannah airport to Hilton Head Island (Ubers are usually about $45). Flying into Hilton Head airport (HHH) is very convenient but as of now the only airline flying several times daily is American Airlines. They recently started allowing larger planes, so between April and June airlines such as United and Delta will begin flying several times per week

Ubers & Taxis

Ubers are easily available at the airports but from other locations on Hilton Head Island please plan to order an uber 20 minutes before you need it. There are not as many as in a big city and they take a little while to get around the small island. There are two taxi companies that service the island. To arrange for a taxi, please call Yellow Cab at (843) 686-6666 or Diamond Transportation at (843) 247-2156 at least one day ahead to guarantee a reservation for a taxi at your desired time.
