We’re getting married!

We met at Leon’s Oyster Shop. Jacob was working as a server and I came in with my family to celebrate Mother’s Day. Jacob and I were being flirty and I thought he was a stud muffin, so I left him my number on the check. “My name is Katie, 217-412-1806” He texted me that night and took me out on our first date to Fish House the next week. We spent the entire date talking and laughing until they kicked us out. We’ve been inseparable ever since :)

On Christmas morning Jacob and I woke up and exchanged gifts. Just us and the kitties at the time :) I reached into my stocking and felt a small velvet box.. as I turned around there he was, on one knee. My heart skipped a beat. I hugged and kissed him and said “YES!” It was the best Christmas surprise ever. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Charleston!
