Our story began on March 26, 2016, the day our childhood besties got married (Brittany Lee and Kevin Lee). Hart and I were set up by Kevin and Brittany who intentionally matched us up to walk down the isle at their own wedding. Needless to say we were both pre-occupied with other relationships at the time. In fact, Hart had a date at the wedding already. BUT we all know him, so you know how that went. :) I knew when we met that he would somehow be a big part of my life. A few months later he reached out to me and we went on our first date. We ended up at The Universal Joint at the rest is history!

Kate had showed me 1000 completely different kinds of rings, each one with nothing in common with the next. So one day I decided on the first one that she picked, but first I had to rob two banks. Once that was successfully completed, I went and picked it up. I hid it from her for three months in a very secret place right under her nose. I was awaiting the perfect moment. One in which she would truly remember and be extra special. We had booked a vacation to stay in a tree house in Costa Rica. So I had to carry the ring through airport security all while keeping it hidden. This was one of the most stressful moments of my life fearing that the surprise would be blown. I knew Kate had NO IDEA because the day before we left she tore her nails off. Our first day we went to the beach. Upon our arrival, the beach was absolutely packed with drunk and obnoxious tourists. I needed to unload the ring ASAP and this wasn't the place. We then walked 2 miles into a national forest and discovered a gorgeous beach with no one in sight. Kate said she absolutely loved it. So, I set up my camera as to take a picture and walked up to her and asked her to marry me... Of course she said yes to me...
