In November 2018, Colin asked me out on our first date. I didn't explain my crazy work schedule to him, but at the time I was working on the design of a 50 Story skyscraper in Chicago. Over the last three years of our relationship, Colin witnessed this building go from ideas to design and then construction. He heard all the stories about my amazing coworkers and great team of consultants and contractors. He supported me through all the late nights, long weekends and deadlines. During construction, Colin would drop me off at the site and watched the building climb up into the sky. He was amazed how week after week it grew by floors. When it came to selecting a place to get married, we wanted it to be meaningful and unique. It was suggested to us, by Erik Harris, that we should get married at 320 South Canal. Colin and I were bursting with excitement at the thought of this idea. 320 South Canal grew with Colin and I through our relationship. From the beginning of just thought and hope to the realization of a structure with deep foundations. Being married at 320 South Canal will be extremely memorable to the both of us, and it will be documented forever in our wedding photos. We are grateful to the owners of the building for giving us this opportunity and are extremely excited to share this experience with our close family and friends.
