Join us in Seattle!

Our story begins with an algorithm. We met on the internet! We shared about a week and a half of continuous texting, podcast sharing, and quick quips before finally meeting in person. Our first date was brunch at Stone Way Cafe and a picnic at Gas Works Park in Seattle. Things became “official” a few months later and we’ve been inseparable ever since. For our first year of dating we lived down the street from one another and called it our “long hallway.” We enjoyed meeting up during dog walks, cooking dinner, and slowly figuring out our home routine. In February 2020 we moved in together and shortly after adopted a kitten named Lazuli (but really we only call her “Small”). We enjoy tormenting her with a laser pointer, taking our dog Benny on long walks we call “Benny enrichment days,” experiencing art and live events, bike riding, traveling, and the occasional donut too. On July 2, 2021, Zach proposed to Katie in the garden of one of our favorite restaurants, The Corson Building. We currently live in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle and are looking forward to making future plans in the city! We are excited to host our wedding at AXIS in the historic neighborhood of Pioneer Square where we have enjoyed art walks, coffee shops, and spontaneous lunch dates.
