We were introduced to each other through a mutual friend of ours. Both of us were avid MSN and Xanga users, so naturally our spark and bond grew thanks to the power of the Internet. The Tinder of our time I suppose. Akin to many other relationships, our time together was a rollercoaster ride with many ups and downs. But we all know how fun rollercoaster rides are, right? After 14 short years, we've pretty much already started planning for our future together. So the question became more of a 'when', then a 'how'. There was an attempt to write a song for the proposal to Kathy, until Andrew realized he has no musical background or talent. So he begrudgingly settled on using an existing song and rewriting the lyrics to fit the characters and occasion. Practice was made difficult during the pandemic, since we were locked at home together essentially 24/7. He had to sneak in quick practices while Kathy was occupied in the restroom. That being said, he was still able to miraculously get everything perfected nonetheless. Maybe not so talentless after all. On the big day, Andrew gathered up his courage and serenaded Kathy, while she bawled her eyes out. And although we mentioned 'perfected', it was definitely not so perfect with the nerves.
