Adam and Kathryn met at freshman orientation at the University of Rhode Island in 2009. Adam first noticed Kathryn as she walked across the yard to the honors society informational meeting and starting talking to her. She followed him as they were led into the building to make sure she scored a seat next to him. He then offered her a stick of gum and she said yes because she thought he was cute although she was never a gum chewer. Flash forward to all these years later and they have not shared a pack of gum since but have shared so many memories. Adam and Kathryn moved to Durham, North Carolina just a few short weeks after graduating college after Adam’s internship turned into a job opportunity. After three years and a few promotions later they decided to make a change and move to Oak Park, Michigan right outside of Detroit. A job change and dreams of a sunnier climate brought them to San Jose, CA for three years in which they got to explore the West Coast. While new adventures are fun, the desire to return back home to New England drew them to Massachusetts to an area within driving distance from both of their families. We chose Saint Simons Island to have as our wedding location because we had vacationed there back when we were living in NC and had an idea that it would be a great place to get married one day. This past year we decided to see if our idea was still something we wanted and if our vision was still possible. Our vision is to have a laid back wedding where you can drink, eat, dance and be merry on this stress free laid back island. We hope you enjoy the island as much as we do!
