Vince and Kathleen met in June 2019 and had their first date in Huntington Village. With both having a great love of literature, Vince thought a great start would be at the historic Book Revue and figured the two would have lots to talk about. Though he quickly learned, Kathleen was so incredibly nervous that it wasn't until a beer (or two!) at the bar later where she would actually start talking! The conversation then never stopped and they quickly fell in love. They spent their first summer between New York City and Long Island, killing time in museums, dinners by the water, old secondhand bookshops, and going on weekend getaways to places like the East End, the Catskills and Philadelphia. It became clear to the both of them that they wanted to do everything together and continued to for nearly two years. On March 30, 2021, after escaping gloomy NY to balmy Florida on a road trip, Vince asked Kathleen to be his wife during sunrise on Juno Beach. And of course, Kathleen said yes! The proposal was just like their relationship leading up to it: effortless. We are so excited to be sharing our marriage celebrations with our closest family and friends and look forward to our wedding in July 2022!
