We met over 15 years ago as Accounting majors at the University of Louisville. Ensuring each other excelled in our studies is where our trust, respect and admiration grew for one another. Upon graduating we went our separate ways. Fast forward to January of 2022 when Chris spotted Kathleen on Match.com. After chatting for a bit, we decided to hang out one Friday evening. It took about the length of dinner before we both realized there was something more there, something really special.

It was Kathleen’s birthday weekend and Chris had planned an entire day full of our favorite things. The day started with coffee at Panera, where we met weekly in undergrad for study sessions. Once fueled up for the day, we went to play golf at Top Golf, bowling at Ten Pins and shot pool at Fox’s Den. After such a fun morning, we changed and got ready for dinner. We started at Captains Quarter’s watching the boats come in with a piña colada in hand, followed by dinner at River House. After dinner we went to walk our favorite trail. Along the way we stopped to watch the sunset. Here Chris asked Kathleen if she knew the lyrics to Michael Bublé’s song Everything and started reciting the lyrics, “It's you, it's you, you make me sing You're every line, you're every word, you're everything You're every song, and I sing along 'Cause you're my everything” He got down on one knee and asked her if she would marry him! She quickly screamed “YES”, over and over again!
