We're getting married... finally!

It comes with no surprise, the past several months have been challenging to say the least. Given these unpredictable circumstances, we have come to realize the well-being of our families and friends is what matters most. As difficult as this was, we have decided to relocate our wedding destination and limit the amount of guests to ensure a safe environment. We are truly sorry we are unable to celebrate with everyone but look forward to celebrating with those closest to us!

We first met in art class, Kathleen's freshman year of high school & Darren's sophomore year, when we got seated at the same table together. A very shy Kathleen quickly became friends with a very outgoing Darren. We officially began dating about a year after meeting, although we have no idea what our anniversary is, and have been together ever since! We have been there for each other through all of our biggest events in life, highs & lows, and could not have imagined it any other way.

What Kathleen thought was just a fun birthday get-away to one of her favorite spots, Wilmington NC, turned out to be the start of our next chapter! Darren asked Kathleen to marry him on a pier located at Wrightsville Beach with the ocean and most beautiful sunset as the backdrop. Kathleen was totally surprised and SO excited to say YES!
