We appreciate the distance our guests traveled to get to us. While we're not jetting off on our honeymoon immediately after the wedding, we are celebrating in the area! We will be posting things we'll be doing in the days following the wedding for anyone considering extending their stay in the area. Feel free to join us! We've also listed plenty of other fun things for guests to enjoy while in the Greater Boston area. Check out the "Things to Do" section.

After brunch on Monday, head to Crane Beach, one of New England area's best beaches and located in Katherine's hometown of Ipswich. To get to the beach, you can take the train from Salem to Ipswich, which connects to a beach shuttle. For non-Ipswich residents that are driving, beach passes should be ordered online the week of the event at: https://tickets.thetrustees.org/calendar/5ed85b43f71d1a08aebf51b3?view=list&_ga=2.91337306.1713561299.1656900781-118345505.1656900781
6:00 pm - 11:00 pm
On the evening of the Fourth of July we will be attending the Pops Fourth of July Spectacular. This tradition is a concert and fireworks show on the esplanade in Boston. We will be bringing a blanket to enjoy the free show, and hope to see you there. As the Birthplace of America, Boston is a fantastic place to spend July 4th. We encourage you to spend the day in the city seeing the historic sites, attending Harbor Fest events, and enjoying Boston in all its glory.
12:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Wednesday, we will be consuming two Boston staples ... lobstah and beer. We'll start at noon at James Hook, a popular Boston lobster spot since 1925. Next, we'll head to the nearby Trillium beer garden to wash that lobster down at one of Boston's best craft breweries. Both locations do not take reservations. James Hook has an order window with seat-yourself picnic tables. Trillium is a large beer garden and we plan to get there at 2pm before the after-work rush. For those that do not eat lobster, James Hook has hot dogs, or you are welcome to join the festivities, and eat at Trillium or one of the nearby restaurants. Hope to see you there!
