How do I get to Seattle from Seatac Airport?

Answer

By rail: You can take the Link Light Rail right from Seatac to Seattle. You can purchase single ride tickets at the machine on the platform, or you can purchase an ORCA pass for multiple rides. There are convenient link stations close to hotels and the downtown core. By rideshare: The third floor of the parking garage at Seatac airport is the pickup location for Uber, Lyft, and other rideshares. There are also yellow cabs available for hire in that same area. By car: Head out of the airport, and head north on I-5 or SR 99 until you see the city lights. Google Maps is a great resource here :)

How easy is parking in Pioneer Square?

Answer

There are some paid garages in the Pioneer Square area, but since this is a historic district there are not a ton of options. We highly recommend parking at your hotel or a paid garage, and utilizing rideshares while you are in the downtown core. Yes, please do so when you receive your formal invitation! We are requesting all responses by December 15, 2023.

Yes, please include your choice of dinner entree with your RSVP! There will be prompts for this on the website.

Is there a dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Yes, we are requesting formal attire. We recommend a suit for gentlemen and formal evening wear (floor length dresses or evening pant suits) for ladies.

What is the weather like in Seattle in January?

Answer

It will rain, but don't expect torrential downpours. That said, weather in Seattle can be unpredictable. Don't expect to see much sun, and expect temperatures in the high 30s and 40s. We promise Mt. Rainier does exist - but you may not see it on this trip!
