Question

What should we know about the area?

Answer

The wedding is fairly remote. We highly recommend stopping on your way in to grab some food, snacks, whatever you may need! Publix, Ingles, Walmart are all about a 25-30 minute drive. You will pass some on your way in no matter which direction you are arriving. Sister’s Restaurant is a cozy country diner nearby that we love. California’s Mexican Grill is a super casual Mexican spot with good food! It can get pretty busy but plenty of seating. There are a number of walking and hiking trails around the area. All Trails app is a great way to find a trail that fits what you are looking for. There are two lakes nearby by Lake Keowee and Lake Jocassee. You can rent boats, kayaks, just sit and look at the fall foliage! We hope you find this area as beautiful and peaceful as we do!

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! We will reach out to let you know your pick up time for arrival. Ceremony will begin at 4:30pm. Transportation will make trips to drop you back off starting at 9:45pm and the last trip at 11:45pm.

Question

Is there a gate code?

Answer

Let the gate know you are there for the Brown wedding and provide them your name. They may ask for ID.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We have everything we need and your presence at our wedding is enough of a gift. If you feel inclined, any contribution to our honeymoon fund would be greatly appreciated.
