Victor and I met through our families! We became good friends and later discovered love for one another. On May 27, 2018, He took me on our very first date to Fahrenheit in Charlotte, NC. We dated long distance for 2 years, rotating traveling back and forth to VA and NC to spend time with one another. We made many memories traveling, fine dinning, shopping and getting to know each other. He and I looked forward to the weekends and the couldn't wait to be in each others presence.

Victor proposed in our apartment home, just the two of us. It was sentimental and very intimate and meant so much to me. It was nothing like I imagined. I always imagined a huge surprise proposal with both of our families present. However his plan exceeded what I imagined. Soon as I opened the front door John Legend "Conversations in the dark" began to play, rose petals on the floor led me to my man on one knee asking me to marry him. He had gold balloons on the wall that spelled out "Will You Marry Me". No cameras, no crowds, no distractions it was perfect and both of us were in the moment. I Said Yessssssss!
