Its All Happening!

We met through a college friend! After we met, we found out that we had some amazing connections with our families! Both of our families come from Oakes, ND, and our moms grew up across the street from one another. Josh's mother is no longer with us but we know God is taking care of her and she is looking down on us with a big smile!

On Valentines Day 2017 Josh proposed! It was a complete surprise and I didn't see it coming! We were out having a glass of wine with my parents at their home before heading into town for our dinner reservations. Somehow Josh managed to get my cat Ollie out to their house without me knowing. We were ready to leave for dinner and Josh walked around the corner holding Ollie! Little did I know there was a ring around his neck tied to a ribbon! It was magical... Quiet and small with my family there just like I've always imagined it happening. Josh made me the happiest girl in the world that day.. Shortly after our proposal Josh deployed to Washington DC. He has been gone all year so I have been here planning our big day while he is away. He returns home for good the end of February 2018! We can't wait to spend the rest of our lives together as husband and wife.
