Ben "Rockus" Thomas is here to rock Kate and Kyle's ceremony as Officiant. A longtime friend of the bride and groom, he helped organize the fateful kickball team that left both Kyle's heart and Ben's right quad totally out of commission. He is grateful that their relationship was the longer lasting of the two. He's definitely going to cry during the wedding and at every major life event for the newlyweds thereafter, and couldn't be happier. A near-seminary dropout but a Universal Life Church standout - Ben values pedigrees over degrees, "amiright"?

Sarah met Kate on the kindergarten playground something like 25 years ago. She remembers most vividly: blue eyes, a long blonde ponytail, and a fiercely protective yet unendingly cheerful spirit. Their friendship endured through mean girl phases, cliques, and Drama drama. Thankfully, with high school BS in the rearview mirror, they rekindled & reconnected as young adults as 2 parts of the 4 Lady Bros. The staunch crew has seen each other through cross country & international moves, all stages of romances, degrees earned, career milestones reached, activism awakened... all of the highs and lows that life has to offer, including the beginnings and endings. Kyle earned his stripes early on and coaxed out Kate's dormant inner feminist rockstar. This new stage in their partnership promises to rock harder than ever before; let the face melting begin!

Lisa and Kate met in 2017 through the US Air Guitar community. They quickly discovered a shared passion for sequins, fringe, glitter, red turtlenecks, questionable humor and karaoke. Over the years of their friendship, Lisa has enjoyed traveling with Kate and their respective air-guitaring significant others to major cities across the US, and to Oulu, Finland for the Air Guitar World Championships.
Michelle Binstock

Michelle met Kate after she (Michelle, not Kate) was taken in by a then-mutual friend as the latest new kid in town. No one thought Michelle would stick around at first, but it soon became clear that she wasn't going anywhere. Michelle and Kate quickly bonded through the school theater program, including performing in shows together over the summer. When it came time to go off to college, Kate and Michelle lived together both as freshmen and sophomores, and there was no shortage of ridiculous adventures during that time. After nearly 16 (!) years of friendship, Kate is without a doubt one of the kindest, silliest, and gracious people Michelle knows (not to mention she historically has, without the doubt, the best Halloween costumes of all time). Seeing Kate and Kyle together, it is immediately apparent what a perfect match they are for each other, sharing the same fun and kind-hearted spirit. Michelle is thrilled to be a small part of their celebration.

Jaime met Kate (and Kevin!) when they were 4 years old for a babysitting-playdate situation the summer before kindergarten. Talk about lucking out on a lifelong friendship—Jaime and Kate remained friends while attending the same K-12 schools as well as UC Davis together. Even though Jaime keeps moving farther and farther away, Kate remains a rock in her life. Kate has always brought the silliness, party, and compassion to their friendship. Jaime’s main contribution was been helping Kate with her Math in 6th grade. Maybe she needs to take up another useful skill to give back a bit more. Love you to pieces, Kate!

Jason Farnan is a man of many names. Lt. Facemelter. Randy Diablo. Mildly attractive groomsman #3. All of which have one thing in common - they are in love with Kyle Privette. Alas, another blonde-headed bombshell has stolen his heart, so a friendship was forged through air guitar and Photoshop, cans of PBR and pants that made you say, "...really?" You can catch Jason at the bar ordering something with fire in it and chanting for someone to do a backflip. Say hi at your own risk.
Maizy Enck

Maizy first met Kate in the fall of 2009 when they began their time at UC Davis. They became fast friends after discovering a shared love - what some may call an “obsession” - with movies and many of the same favorite films. Especially the 1989 David Bowie classic Labyrinth, which they can recite backwards and forwards at this point. Friends since that fateful meeting in the Segundo Housing Area at UCD, Maizy and Kate spend most of their time together discussing television shows and movies, as well as articles or podcasts about television shows and movies. Kate is one of the kindest, considerate, and creative souls. Maizy is so thankful to have her as a friend and is thrilled to be a part of the start to her next adventure, married life with Kyle!

Kate and Emmie met as neighbors one destined afternoon in 2018 when Emmie's dog, Bernie, decided to run into Kate's garage while she was outside spray painting one of her various craft projects. Their mutual love for weird choreographed dance moves, brightly colored wigs, movie nights, and cheese pizza led to a beautiful sisterhood and many clam jamming adventures for years to come.

For months several of our mutual friends at the time had mentioned to me that I really really needed to meet this girl named Kate (she is so sweet, so funny, and you will love her!) These friends were so right! Not only did I appreciate her kindness and sense of humor but also her extreme intelligence, absolute goofiness and theatric energy! I feel honored to have been there the moment Kate shrieked while reading the Red Wedding chapter in “The Song of Fire and Ice” (aka Game of Thrones) (a completely appropriate reaction). I am so excited that Kate has found someone to match her energy and look forward to even more fun times!!

Tyler has been around since day 1. He’s been around for the saga of Kyle and Kate, from kickball to West Sacramento. He once wrote a song for Kate’s dirty thirty that said, “I can’t tell you how damn happy I am that my best friends your groom.” apparently, he meant it cause he is standing with us here to today. Many of you know him as Ty, others may wish to call him Thunder Thor. He brings the thunder and lightning to this celebration of love! Thunder Thor is also Sweetness' most eligible bachelor, check that, ONLY eligible bachelor, he'll be around all night ladies, look for for the flowing blonde locks.

Jake and Kyle started out as next door neighbors and quickly developed a true Libra bromance full of loud music, wild costumes, and hip thrusting. Even after Kyle moved an entire mile away and Jake moved into his van full time with his wife, Emmie, they still manage to meet up for epic snowboarding trips and camping adventures all over the west coast.
Tyler Privette

Tyler is a former child model turned Air Guitar Groupie. As little bro to Sweetness, Tyler has followed his big bro in just about everything. Including BMX Racing, Cliff Jumping, Backcountry Snowboarding, Trap House Exploration, and Music Festies. The adventures these two have had are endless. Through Kyle, Tyler met his future sister in law and Air Guitar Superstar, Kit Kat! Tyler couldn’t be happier for Sweetness and Kit Kat to tie the knot!
Dr. Caleb Bourg

Caleb has been known for sometime as Dr. Bourg or just the doctor and though he technically he doesn't have any sort of medical training or credibility to speak of he is liable to schedule a "checkup". Often at inappropriate times. He's been running tests for years and is confident that Kyle and Kate were made for each other. Tonight he's just here to witness their love and to be on call in case Ben needs CPR.
