Tommy is Kate’s not so-little-brother who is also one of her best friends. Tommy and Kate have had endless adventures as kids (from Tommy driving the car to kate having her tongue stuck to a frozen fence) which have continued into adulthood through traveling and experiencing life together with Edwin and Dani by our sides. Tommy is one of the most adventurous people Kate and Edwin know. Tom is fiercely loyal and supportive and has always been there for Edwin and Kate. Tommy is our “go to” travel planner and confidant and we are so lucky to have him. You most likely will not see Tom on the dance floor as he has the same awful dancing gene that Kate has. It must be a Lyons’ thing (looking at you Dad)
Jarae Payne
Bridesmaid
Jarae and Kate met while working in the ICU at CHOP about 10 years ago. Kate and Jarae quickly became friends after meeting (thank God Jarae is so social and outgoing since we know Kate is not!). Kate and Jarae share a love for fish tacos from Taqueria Amor and going to the beach. Jarae is one-of -a-kind and Kate and Edwin count themselves lucky to have her in their lives. Jarae brings endless laughter and a great taste in music to Kate and Ed’s lives. You are sure to catch Jarae on the dance floor on the wedding day, unlike Kate who definitely cannot dance :)
Jonathan Perez
Best Man
Jonathan is Edwin's younger brother. Growing up, they did everything together. From going to summer camps, playing in Filipino Basketball Leagues together (we are not Filipino lol), to collecting everything from Pokémon cards to Beanie Babies. As they got older, both Ed and Jon got really into art and continued to collect new things. From records to streetwear, Jon was always ahead of the trends and would put Edwin onto what to listen to or buy next. Edwin always says, "Jon is the TRUE artist in the family."
Camila Will
Flower Girl
Introducing the cutest flower girl on the planet! Camila is the daughter of Edwin’s sister Melissa and brother in law Jake. “Cami” is Edwin and Kate’s first niece and they adore her! Cami has the best personality and Kate and Ed have loved watching her grow! Although she lives in Ohio, the many pictures and videos we get help with the distance. We are so excited and honored to have Cami be part of our wedding and cannot wait to see all the amazing things she does as she grows up!
Sophia Yoshigabeppu
Flower Child
We are beyond excited to have Sophia coming all the way from Japan to be at our wedding. Sophia is the daughter of Mico, one of our closest family friends. We absolutely adore Sophia and Mico and have loved watching her grow up ( from afar). Sophia also is one of Edwin’s first art students, unofficially. Officially, she is literally one of the coolest kids we know and we can’t wait to see all of the amazing things she does as she grows up!
