The Wedding Website of Kate Cardy and Andrew McKenna
These are all loose recommendations for where to stay and what area is best, in relation to where our wedding venue is. Our wedding venue does not have accommodation on site so we will be staying in the main village which is closest to our venue and is called Koutouloufari. The busier strip just at the bottom of this town is called Hersonissos. There are other villages just along called Piskopiano and Old Hersonissos, all of which are beautiful and around 15-20 minutes to our venue. Obviously, we are so thankful to you for choosing to come to our wedding and appreciate that you may be using this as a holiday for yourselves too, so please feel free to stay where you like and where appeals to you! This page simply has recommendations on for hotels that we have either stayed at, heard good things about or simply know are in the area! Of course you will do your own research but we wanted to create this page for anyone needing a little guidance! Please feel free to ask away for more info!

This is an adults only hotel but very quiet and relaxing. We have stayed here before and loved it, the staff are amazing and it is just on the entrance of Koutoutloufari.

Another lovely hotel/apartments right next door to Sunrise Apartments (where the wedding party will be staying). This hotel has a lot of options from luxurious swim up rooms to super simple apartments and a few different pools!

Taxi Infomation

Taxi's are incredibly easy to get around the area. Most hotels will give you numbers of taxi ranks in the area or ring them for you. Taxis for up to 4 people are around 10-20 euros (one way) to our venue. Usually when you use the first taxi - they will give your their card, if you have been satisfied with that taxi journey then keep the card, and ring them again and again!
