Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by July 15, 2024 or sooner if possible :)

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are registered on Amazon, but also have a honeymoon fund/kitchen remodel fund. We don’t have very many items on our registry, but appreciate anything, especially gifting toward our Honeymoon in Mexico ❤️

Question

Parking/vehicle info from the venue:

Answer

No cars can be left in the parking lot overnight - no exceptions. Per the contract, you will be charged $100 per vehicle (via the information on the Credit Card Authorization form). The tow truck will be called at 11:05PM for vehicles left in the parking lot. The owner of the vehicle can email us for the tow truck's contact information (will be answered the next morning). We will not notify the owner that the vehicle has been towed. The owner will have to pay the towing bill to get their vehicle back. If someone feels they are or will be too intoxicated to drive, they should plan accordingly. We have a 3 vehicle limit at the barn for drop off or pick up. Everyone else will need to wait in the parking lot for a car to leave before they can access the barn. It's too chaotic with more than 3 vehicles around the barn. Please plan for this during the clean up process. Prioritize the vehicles that need to be at the barn. Vehicles are not allowed to park & stay at the barn - they will be asked to move. Always stay on the gravel. The only place driving on the grass is acceptable is the parking lot because it is hard packed - any place else is too soft.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

I do have a hotel block reserved near the venue in Newark (Double Tree Hilton), but some may uber to Columbus for accommodations further away from the venue. TJ and I plan to head to the short north in Columbus after the wedding. Please plan your stay/your transportation ahead of time :)

Question

What time should I arrive at the reception?

Answer

6 pm! Everyone must be off the premises by 11 pm per the venue owner, the reception is officially from 6-10 pm.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the reception?

Answer

There is no set transportation to and from the hotels unless you set this up prior to. Please plan accordingly if you are consuming alcohol as well, as no vehicles may be left at the venue over night.

Question

Some important items from the venue to note:

Answer

NO firearms No flame rule - no sparklers, no candles, and only smoking/vaping unless in designated area. No glass. No china, breakable dinnerware, glassware, etc. No outside alcohol besides what is brought in for the bartender No shots of alcohol No drugs No boudoir or nude photography No confetti, glitter, birdseed, rice, floating lanterns, balloons, sparklers, fake loose flower petals, bubbles or bubble machines are permitted for flower girl or send offs. REAL flower petals are allowed. No pinatas, mechanical bulls, bounce houses, firepits, feather, bicycles, skateboards, or rollerblades. No dart throwing games, balloon popping, fog machines, or carnival-type rides are permitted. No firearms allowed. No animals allowed. No parking around the barn. Pick up and drop off is permitted and vehicles must stay on the gravel. Disparaging remarks or any type of physical violence will not be tolerated. No overnight parking in the parking lot.

Question

Smoking/Vaping per the venue:

Answer

Please warn known smokers or vapers that they cannot smoke or vape in or around the barn or other outbuildings on the property - including the barn yard area. We've had so many people "hide" or deny that they were smoking/vaping. The Barn team members are on "fire duty" the whole night as required by our local fire inspector & will be watching specifically for smoke or flame AND if something smells hot or on fire. If we smell smoke, we will search it out immediately.... old barn, old wood, fast flames. I really don't want to evacuate the barn on your day; however, we will if we suspect a fire. There is a smoking area which the DJ will announce the location - in front of the barn under the two large maple trees between the driveway and fence. This is the only acceptable smoking & vaping area. We will nicely ask those smoking/vaping to move to the smoking area every single time. If guests cooperate, there won't be any issues. We take your day and the safety of you & your guests very seriously.

Question

Food/drinks:

Answer

We will be having two different options for food when you RSVP: Dos Hermanos food truck as well as Hoggy’s bbq catering. Things to note: there will be plenty of options at the food truck (burritos, tacos, bowls, quesadillas), but the BBQ catering will be FIRST COME FIRST SERVE. We will have an open bar that serves soft drinks, water, our two signature cocktails, seltzers, beer and wine. No outside alcohol is permitted and no shots are allowed (per the venue).

Question

Restrooms:

Answer

There will be 4 restrooms available for guests to use. Please never urinate outside around the venue or barns, always use the facilities- per the venue owner.

Question

When/where is the ceremony?

Answer

We will be having a ceremony where we will be officially married on August 31st. However, the actual party and celebration of our marriage we would like for our guests to attend is on September 6th at 22 Acres Farm!

Question

Seating?

Answer
