Throughout our time of dating, we kept a physical book called "The Adventure Log", that we would fill out anytime we traveled somewhere or did something fun together to keep track of our different adventures. On the night that Matt proposed, we had dinner at The Pearl in Dublin, and went on a walk around Bridgepark. It was at the remnants of an old school house, where we sat on a window sill and Matt pulled out the adventure book so we could reflect on our many fun times together. On the second to last page in the book, Matt had written the date from 7 months prior with the title "Matt bought the ring for Kat". The last page in the book had the date May 7th, 2022, with the title, "Matt ask Kat to spend the rest of her life with him". Matt had the ring on a pen to write "yes" in the book, and got down on one knee, where of course Kat said "Yes!" For our engagement photos, we went back to the exact spot where Matt proposed, the window in the picture below!
