Who is attending the Ceremony & the Dinner Party?

Answer

The civil ceremony at the Santa Barbara Courthouse will be a small intimate ceremony reserved for immediate family only. The Dinner Party at Sama Sama is for immediate family and the Bridal Party.

Who is attending the Irvine Celebration?

Answer

Because we didn’t have a traditional large wedding, we wanted to extend the celebration out to all of our family and friends to celebrate with us in Irvine! The party will include a buffet dinner, but no formal program. Just eating, taking photos and spending time with loved ones!

What is the dress code?

Answer

Dress code in Santa Barbara is semi-formal/cocktail attire, but please feel free to bring a jacket or sweater as November can be chilly. Attire for the Irvine celebration is dressy dinner party, no jeans or shorts please!

Is there parking available at Sama Sama?

Answer

Please be aware that the restaurant is located on State Street, which is a main popular area for restaurants in downtown Santa Barbara, so parking might be difficult during peak hours. Parking can be found in surrounding lots for a small fee or along streets if available.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Although we love your children, for the Santa Barbara dinner party we ask that our event be adults only so that you can fully relax and enjoy the evening! For the Irvine celebration, children are definitely welcome!

How do I RSVP and when is the deadline?

Answer

For all events during the wedding weekend, please use the RSVP page on the website to let us know whether you will be able to attend on or before October 15, 2022.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Alcohol will be available for purchase at Sama Sama Kitchen’s bar. A champagne toast will be provided. No alcohol will be provided in Irvine.

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

The most important thing to us is that you are able to celebrate with us on our wedding day. However, if you wish to give a gift, we will gratefully accept cash contributions!
