It all started on a crisp, spring day in Reno, NV. Trevor was hanging out with his roommate, Brennan, and his girlfriend when she asked him if he was single. He told her yes and she said she had a friend that she believed would vibe really well with him, so a double date was set. The date was at the same time as a tattoo convention Trevor had already had plans to go to. However, since the date was at 5pm and the convention was at 10 am Trevor figured he would have enough time to go and get a cool tattoo to show off to Kass at their date. Little did he know, the day would not go according to plan. Trevor ended up arriving closer to 12pm to the convention. The artist he ended up choosing for a tattoo said he could get him in at 3, be done by 4:30, and he would be able to make the date. Trevor thought he had it in the bag! However, as luck would have it, this convention was in the basement of a casino, with absolutely no cell service. The artist ended up running an hour behind and did not start the tattoo until 4:15ish. Trevor knew he would be late, but alas with no cell service there was no way to get in touch with Brennan to let him know he was running late. So as Trevor settled into the tattoo chair, heart pounding, he thought he had blown it and tried to deal with it…. Little did did know though, Brennan was the best wingman he could ever ask for. Kass ended up meeting Brennan and his girlfriend at the house lovingly referred to as "The Brick". While she waiting Brennan and all the other guys were hyping Trevor up, finding things that they had in common, and telling her it was worth it. Things like “oh you like to read? Trevor LOVES to read too!" and "oh you like the outdoors? Trevor loves the outdoors!" and things like that. She met all 5 roommates and the house dog without even meeting Trevor. Eventually she got hungry and had plans at 8pm with her friends, so she made it clear that if Trevor was not there by 7:30pm she would leave. At this point it was about 5:45pm and Trevor was still getting a tattoo. So, Brennan and his girlfriend took her to the restaurant all the while letting her know Trevor would just meet them there. Kass later told Trevor that the entire ride to the restaurant she had a feeling that told her to stay and that it would be worth it, so luckily for Trevor she listened to her gut. Finally, it was 6:30 pm, the tattoo was finished, and Trevor booked it out of the basement convention and into the outside world. He checked his phone as messages finally came through and lo’ behold, they were still at the restaurant!! Brennan told Trevor to book it and YOU BET HE DID. He got to the restaurant at 6:45pm and when he walked in saw Kass he smiled, and said to himself “alright, let's go get her.” Kass was giving Trevor shit for being late and was making jokes. Trevor laughed and joked about it right back. Kass smiled and said “well you have 15 minutes to woo me as I have plans". And woo her he did. And trust us, Trevor will not be an hour and a half late to the wedding!
