DelFest- Bluegrass Festival
Bluegrass Festival featuring big names. The fairgrounds are nestled along the Potomac River in the scenic Appalachian Mountains. Day passes are sold since you will be at our wedding on Saturday.
1812 Brewery
1812 Brewery is the first and only farm brewery in Allegany County, Maryland. The family owned and operated craft brewery and brew house is located in a repurposed barn built in 1812.

Excellent local craft brewery in downtown Cumberland. Live music and food trucks. Near Downtown hotels.
Uncle Jack's Pizzeria & Pub
Awesome slices of pizza and wings. We used to go here all the time! Close to downtown Cumberland hotels.

Excellent fine dining Italian food. Our favorite item on the menu is the Chicken Abruzzo.

Great coffee, lattes and brunch food. We used to walk here every weekend for coffee and brunch. Near downtown Cumberland hotels.

Excellent coffee drinks near hotels & BnB's in Frostburg. The owner of this shop recorded Karl's highschool punk rock band's first album.
The Deep End
Live music & local craft beer in Frostburg. In college we came to this location (under a different name) to see many great bands.

Local winery and brewery in Frsotburg near hotels and lodging.
Niner's Canal Pub
Great selection of craft beer and cheap bar food. This was one of our go-to hang outs in college.
D'Atri Subs Etc
The world famous Diatris Sub! Several locations around but most prefer pick up from Columbia Street. Jenna likes the Italian sub and red sauce dishes. The steak sub is probably one of Karl's favorite foods in the world.
Baltimore Street Grill
Voted one of Western Maryland's best outdoor patios. Wing Night is legendary.
Curtis Famous Weiners
World famous Curtis' Coney Island island hot dogs. Order "with" to get served like a local.
Canal Place Shops and Heritage Park
Shops, winery, restaurant and scenic train station.
C&O Canal Towpath Trail Access
A nice walk, run or bike from Canal Place to historic lock house and canal lock structure.
Cumberland Trail Connection
Bike shop with rentals and seasonal shuttle service.
Rocky Gap State Park
State park with fishing, swimming, walking, running, hiking & biking trails, kayak & SUP rentals. Karl and Jenna used to come here all the time for rock climbing, hiking & swimming. Karl worked in the boat house for two summers during college.
Fallingwater House
A bit of a drive for a nearby daytrip. Frank Lloyd Wright's famous Fallingwater House.
Downtown Cumberland Historic District
Downton Cumberland pedestrian mall is unfortunately torn up for construction. Shops and restaurants nearby downtown Cumberland hotels.
Swallow Falls State Park
This is a state park with beautiful water falls and a trail.
Corner Tavern and Cafe
Popular neighborhood bar and restaurant with a cool atmosphere, good food and rotating drink selection.

New spot in downtown Cumberland with cocktail bar and ramen stand.
