Check your passport! Make sure it's valid a minimum of 6 months from the wedding date. If you need to order a passport do it ASAP. It takes about 3 months for a passport to arrive. VISAS: A visa is needed to enter the USA and the EU in 2025. Traveling to the USA, you will need an ESTA. You can get one here: https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov Traveling to the EU, you will need ETIAS. You can get one here (still pending): https://travel-europe.europa.eu/index_en Latest Flight to Consider from LAX: June 16 to arrive in Paros on June 18. June 18 to arrive in Paros on June 20 Estimate about 16-24 hours of travel time and note that Greece is 10 hours ahead. Latest Flight to Consider from Athens: September 11 to arrive in Hesperia on September 12. Estimate about 16-24 hours of travel time and note that Hesperia is about an two hours from LAX. Our favorite airline to book with is United. We prefer flying Swiss, Lufthansa, and Air Canada in that order. In Greece I prefer Aegean. It’s a safe bet to go for the veggie food option and always take snacks. Book the aisle seat your legs will thank you. If you can pick a layover we would go for Zurich, Vienna, Amsterdam, or Munich. Forgot something? Buy it at the DutyFree shops it’s cheaper.

How to Get to Paros Greece

The most common way to get to Paros is to fly to Athens, Santorini or Mykonos and then continue your trip with a ferry or flight. Ferries can take between approx. 4 hours with the slowest boat from Athens up to 40 mins with the fastest boat from Mykonos. You can fly from any European city, to Athens and from some cities to Santorini or Mykonos and then you have to take a boat from there to Paros or a flight from Athens. If you arrive in Athens airport please visit the Athens Airport Website (http://www.aia.gr/traveler/to) and find how to get to the port. Note: In order to catch a ferry to Paros on the same day, it is very important to know when you need to land, otherwise you need to stay somewhere overnight. 1. By Plane: You can take a connecting flight from Athens to Paros, the duration is approx. 30 minutes. The Paros Airport is located 9 kilometers southwest of Parikia, in Voutakos Agkairias. By Boat: Ferries to Paros depart from the ports of Piraeus and Rafina (in Athens) and also from Santorini, Mykonos, and many other Cyclades Islands.
