Maid of Honor
1. I met Kara the summer before high school when we were both just 14 years old. While Kara and I remained friends during our first semester of high school, it wasn’t until the infamous Christmas party at Chip’s house that Kara invited me to where we became inseparable. Since then, we've spent endless sleepovers over 14 years listening to Taylor Swift, watching Pretty Little Liars, and laughing until we cried. While we may live states away, I can promise you, nothing has changed. She is my best friend forever & always, the sister I never had, and curveball to my rocket (inside joke of course). 2. It is impossible to pick one memory that is my favorite that Kara and I have shared! If I had to choose, it would have to be our annual Christmas light watching. Every year, we would pray that the radio would play “All I want for Christmas is You”, and every year our wish was granted and we would sing (scream) our best Mariah Carey. 3. Megan isn’t afraid to be herself, and is down right hilarious. I definitely see myself as loyal, funny, kind and probably a bit weird. Kara and I are theater kids after all. 4. If anyone has ever owned a cat, they know Lorelai is the easy answer. Cats rule the world regardless of what anyone thinks, and Lorelai takes the cake on this. Lorelai gets what she wants and won’t let anyone get in her way. Sounds like most rulers, doesn’t it? 5. Champagne, Corona, Moscow Mules, or Margaritas. I love a good bev, and definitely always need one in my hand.
Maid of Honor
1. Roommates for 18 years. 2. Too many amazing memories to count with just Shaye! But I always love our sister trips we go on together! I am lucky to have explored so many great places with her! One of my favorite memories with Shaye and Kara would be when we cruised around in a golf cart exploring Put-n-Bay, Ohio, even though I may have almost tipped the golf cart over while driving! 3. I am Annie because I get nervous on planes, I’ll always be there for the bride, and I’m always ready to party! 4. I can't choose between my niece and nephew! 5. Red wine and anything with Tequila! .
Bridesmaid
1. I met these beautiful brides when my husband Andrew and I moved to Columbia and I started working at Battle Elementary as a mental health clinician! Kara and I shared identical viewpoints when it came to loving on our sweet students and through that common passion of rallying around our little pals we developed a beautiful friendship that was rooted in cheering each other on in our respective corners of education, kabitzing about Taylor swift, doing anything we could to make each other laugh, and developing one of the most intentional and pure friendships I’ve ever had in my entire! Then we introduced Andrew and Shaye to each other and our dogs to each other and it has given us the Columbia family we always wanted! 2. I have way too many to pick one favorite! Jonas brothers, wearing Andrew’s swim goggles in the pool, my 30th birthday, The summer I turned pretty nights, but one of my favorites will forever be spending Fourth of July together! Having the literal picture perfect Fourth of July that was filled with pool time, cooking time in the kitchen with Shaye, and fireworks! 3. It’s gotta be a mix of air Marshall John and Megan! I will be taking nine puppies. 4. Tuck the Duck baby! I love Lorelai but Tuck the Duck would bring world peace. I think I feel like LoLo could get a little drunk with power! 5. A crisp Sauvy B with two ice cubes or a glass of Champs and a Paloma if I’m feeling wild.

1. I first met Shaye at a graduate school fair at the National Communication Conference in 2018 or 2019 (nerds!). She was a current Mizzou graduate student trying to convince me (a prospective grad student) to apply to the program. Her convincing worked and several years later I decided to attend Mizzou. We became fast friends and I met Kara soon after that. 2. 1) Shaye and Kara dressed up as me for Halloween one year and it was one of the funniest surprises I’ve ever had. 2) They also threw me a chicken tender taste test birthday party once which was a highlight of my life. 3) My weekly lunch with Shaye is my favorite part of each week. 4) Hiding each of their engagement rings in my apartment were such fun secrets to keep. 3. I love a song and dance number so you can count on me bringing choreographed dance moves like Annie and Lillian in the last scene. But in general? I’m just here for a celebratory weekend so my Rita energy will be strong. 4. I take Tucker for personality and Lorelai for persuasion, but honestly I would take either of them over any of our current options. 5. Bubbles. Or a Vodka Sprite. I love a sugar rush. .
Officiant
1. I forced Shaye to be my friend in high school and that’s all I’ll say about that. I met Kara at a restaurant after Shaye and her started dating! 2. There’s so many to pick from with Shaye that I truly don’t have enough time to go through them all. BUT my favorite memory with both of them was the behind the scenes planning of Shaye’s proposal. Listening to Kara try to figure it out and hearing Shaye’s plans was so fun. It was just a great way to learn about their love. 3. Mmmm I’m gonna have to say Annie’s mom. As the officiant I will have to keep things in line. 4. Lorelai for sure. But Tuck would make a cute assistant for her! 5. Anything with alcohol is good with me! Party on friends!
