Ember and Kara met in 7th grade and believe it or not, did not click right away! It wasn't until their families traveled to Israel with their synagogues when they realized how much they actually enjoyed being around each other. Over 15 years later, they are still close as ever. Ember and Kara cannot be too far from each other. While they went to colleges in different states, they saw each other constantly and their bond never weakened. While Ember was visiting Kara in Baltimore, Ember met her soulmate and became a Maryland resident along side her bestie. Ember is like a sister to Kara, and has been through all the ups and downs that years of friendship comes with. Ember has always been by Kara's side then, so it is no surprise Ember will be by her side on this special day.
Griffin Bianco
Best Man
Griffin and Nate met in 1st grade at Lowell School and bonded over video games. They lost touch when Griffin switched elementary schools, but reconnected in high school. During their high school years, Nate spent most of his time at Griffin's house, sometimes without Griffin even knowing. They spent hours playing Halo and watching movies in Griffin's basement. They both went to Boston University and roomed together freshman year. They also have bonded over music and have introduced each other to many bands and artists, like the Arctic Monkeys. Griffin has always been a good sport and attended concerts with Nate even when he doesn't know the band. Nate can always count on him and is excited that he will be a very important part of his wedding.
Steph Freinberg

Steph and Kara met their freshman year of college at Towson University. They both lived in the dorms that first year and experienced the many wonders of college together. After college, both Kara and Steph stayed in Maryland . They stayed best friends and continue to experience "adulting" with one another. Kara and Steph share a love of coke slushies and Steph always makes sure a restaurant has "Kara approved food". Steph has always looked out for Kara and makes sure she sees the whole picture. Steph gives tough love and that's why Kara loves having her as a friend. Kara is thrilled to have Steph by her side on one of the most important days of her life.
Craig Fimian

Craig and Nate met on the first day of kindergarten. Nate insists they both cried that day, but Craig denies this. They have been friends ever since then. Craig is Nate's sports buddy. They have attended countless Red Sox, Bruins, Celtics, Patriots, and Boston College games together. They have spent hours debating sports and comparing baseball cards. They share the same love of classic rock and listened to Dark Side of the Moon many times in Craig's Pontiac. Even with Craig living in Massachusetts and Nate now in Maryland they still keep in touch. He has been by his side through high school and beyond, and this very special day will be no different.
Dani Borgia

Dani is Kara's "little sister" in her sorority, Kappa Delta from Towson University. Oddly enough, Kara and Dani went to overnight camp at the same place when they were 12, but weren't friends. The minute Kara saw Dani walk into recruitment for her sorority, Kara instantly loved her. To this day, Kara adores Dani and couldn't imagine a better "little sister" and best friend. Dani helps Kara in so many areas of life. Dani gives amazing advice and is Kara's go-to girl for decorating anything in her house. Whether it's going out and dancing the night away, or lying on the couch doing absolutely nothing, Dani is the perfect friend to do these things with. Kara can't wait to have her little/best friend by her side on this very special day.
Antonio Mascaro

Antonio and Nate became friends in Mrs. McCourt's English class in 9th grade. Antonio had only lived in Watertown for a couple years since moving from Italy. They ended up having many classes together throughout high school and attended many concerts with Craig and Griffin. They've always enjoyed laughing together and are quick to share quotes from their favorite comedies like Superbad and Walk Hard. Antonio went to college in Vermont and still lives there now. Even though they live far apart they still keep in touch while playing their favorite video games together online. Nate always has a fun time with Antonio and is thrilled to have him as a groomsman!
Becky McColl

Becky and Kara met in 6th grade when Kara was the new girl in school. While Becky and Kara were not close right away, they ended up becoming the best of friends as they went into middle and high school. Kara and Becky drove to school together everyday when they got their licenses, and Becky put up with all of Kara's interesting music choices. Throughout college, they visited each other numerous times and always had a blast. Becky moved around between Delaware, Pennsylvania, and Maryland. No matter where she moved, Kara and Becky's friendship stayed strong. Every time they get to see each other it's like no time has passed. Kara cannot wait to have Becky stand by her side on this very special day.
Alex Traub

Alex is Kara's younger brother and the sweetest guy out there. Alex and Kara have a similar sense of humor and Alex always puts a smile on Kara's face when they see each other. Kara still thinks of her 23 year old brother as the little boy she remembers, but he has really grown up to be a wonderful man. When Nate and Alex met, Alex specifically liked Nate's strong handshake, which is apparently very important. Kara and Nate can't wait for Alex to stand by their sides as they celebrate this very special day.
Jess Gilbert

Jess and Kara both worked at Fulton Elementary when they met each other. The first time they hung out, Kara thought Jess would think she was wild and crazy, little did Kara know, Jess was the same exact way. They soon went from everyday colleagues to best friends. Kara and Jess would visit each other's classrooms multiple times throughout the day, and Kara always had wheat thins and stale goldfish ready for Jess to come snag. Jess and Kara had fun nights going out in Federal Hill, and in the summer going to her uncle's pool. Jess moved to Texas with her husband, but Jess and Kara still talk every single day. With over a 1000 day streak on Snapchat, they don't miss a moment from each other's lives. Kara values her friendship with Jess so much and cannot wait to have her right by her side.
Ethan Traub

Ethan is Kara's other younger brother who Kara also looks to as a baby, but he is 21! Kara remembers when Ethan was little and they would watch gameshow network together and listen to the same music. Kara cannot believe the great young man Ethan has become and how he's grown, both mentally and physically (he's 6'3). Ethan and Nate actually have similarities in their looks in that they both are very tall and have dark curly hair. The two like to talk about video games and sports, these conversations can go on for a very long time. Kara and Nate cannot wait for Ethan to be part of their special day.
Lauren Steinberg

Lauren is Kara's sister-in-law through her brother Kerry. Kara likes to call Lauren, Kerry's better half. When Kerry introduced Lauren to the family, she was instantly loved. Lauren is so much fun and is very bubbly. Lauren and Kara have the same outgoing, extroverted personality that sometimes is too much for Kerry to handle. Kara is so lucky to have a sister-in-law that is someone who she would have picked for a friend. Lauren is Kara's go-to person when she wants a good deal or when she's in need of wedding advice. Lauren always answers her phone, unlike her husband, and is there for Kara anytime she needs her. Kara is so excited to have Lauren be by her side for this very special time in her life.
Kerry Traub

Kerry is not only Kara's brother, but the officiant of the Getz wedding. Kerry is about 5 years older than Kara and does not only play the older brother role, but so much more. Kerry has been there whenever Kara has needed him, whether it was helping Kara write her college entrance essay or being the calm for Kara when she gets worked up. Kerry and Kara could not be any more different as far as personality, but Kerry will drop everything in order to help his little sister out with anything. Kerry and Nate, on the other hand, have very similar personalities and likes. Both are cool, calm, and collected and enjoy a good plate of chicken parmesan! Nate and Kara are thrilled to have Kerry not only officiate their wedding, but also be by their side on this very special day.
Ali Getz

Ali is Nate's sister and Kara's sister-in-law to be. Kara and Ali have similar senses of humor and are only a year apart in age. Ali and Kara have fun going out to dinner with the family and talking about the tv shows that Nate leaves the room for. Ali is studying to be a veterinarian and is always available to answer any cat-care questions pertaining to her niece and nephew, Winnie and Cheddar. Kara is so excited to become part of the Getz family and have a sister-in-law that is just like her in so many ways. It brings Kara so much excitement that she gets to have her new family member by her side.
Peter Prunty

Peter is Nate's brother-in-law through his sister, Ali. Being the protective older brother, Nate was tough on Peter when they first met, but quickly warmed up to him when he found out he was a Patriots fan. Since then, they've been good friends and have spent time together on family vacations and holidays. He is proud to call him family. Originally from New York, Peter lives in Boston and works for the FBI. Nate admires Peter for his ambition and dedication to his career and family. They text each other during football games and compare their fantasy teams. Nate's sister couldn't have chosen a better guy to spend her life with and Nate couldn't be happier to have him by his side on his big day.
