I'm not part of the wedding party, does the welcome event include me?

Answer

Yes! Because this is a destination wedding, we will invite all guests in the rehearsal dinner / welcome event dinner, the ceremony, cocktail hour, reception and brunch.

What is the dress code for the ceremony / reception?

Answer

Cocktail attire. We are excited to announce that the ceremony will be on the beach! We will then have a cocktail hour in the courtyard, with a reception following in the ballroom. We will be providing places for your shoes during the ceremony because of the sand (but not sure what that looks like just yet).

Can I bring a date? / Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Your invitations are being worked on as we speak. Once invitations have been sent, you will be able to see who in your party is invited to attend. We appreciate your understanding as we want to ensure the ones that matter most to us are able to attend.

Where are you registered?

Answer

While your presence on our special day is more than enough of a gift, we are always grateful for any gifts that come from the hearts of our loved ones. Our combined homes are already well stocked with the items commonly found in wedding registries. Thus, we have created a newlywed fund in lieu of a registry found on the registry tab.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Yes, we do! Please check out the 'travel tab'. It will have the 2 different hotel options available as we wanted to provide multiple options for our guests.

When should I arrive?

Answer

Eric and Kara will plan to arrive on Thursday, May 23rd to begin setting up for our special weekend and make it perfect for you! You are welcome to come in on Friday, May 24th and make a weekend of fun! We will do everything we can to spend time with everyone before festivities begin. You can also come in on Saturday, as the first event will begin Saturday evening (mid-afternoon for the bridal party).

Is there transportation to and from the Marriott Springhill Suites to the ceremony?

At this time, there is not transportation. Should anything change, we will update the site here.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 5:30 pm on Sunday, May 26th. You may want to get there around 5:00 pm to select your seat.
