Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

As soon as possible, latest is February 20th.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Formal/Black-Tie Optional. The bride or the groom are not afraid of being upstaged, so go all out. This may be Austin, but we want you to dress up! We want main character energy from all of you. As far as shoes, it is an outdoor ceremony (on paved patio stones) and cocktail hour (on grass) so stilettos might sink. Reception will be indoors.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Ceremony starts promptly at 4:30pm. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to ensure it all goes on schedule and we can capture dreamy sunset pictures.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Of course! I have accounted for all of your children in the headcount, if you’d rather dance the night away and have a date night out, just let us know when you RSVP.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there is on-site parking available. There is a small little uphill walk, and there are a few handicap spots right in front. Let us know if you need special accommodations.

Question

Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

If you plan on just exploring the downtown area, then you don’t need to. Austin doesn’t have great public transportation, so you’d have to use rideshare services. Otherwise, we do recommend renting a car. The wedding is in Dripping Springs, about 20 min outside of Austin.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, please let us know as soon as possible! Call or text either of us.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are already so honored and excited to have you come celebrate with us, but if you feel inclined to do so, here’s the link: https://www.honeyfund.com/site/spearman-mengis-03-23-2023
