Things To Do

Art Prize

Grand Rapids, MI

ArtPrize is an art festival & competition that spans three square miles of downtown Grand Rapids. ArtPrize entries can be found in parks, museums, and venues all over the city. ArtPrize is free to enjoy and the festival stretches from September 14 - October 1. Even if you're not an art enthusiast, it is still fun to walk around & experience downtown GR during ArtPrize.

Downtown Grand Rapids

Bridge Street, MI

Have fun exploring Downtown Grand Rapids! Bridge Street is home to some of the best restaurants in the city. Butcher's Union is one of our all time favorite places for dinner. Condado is one of Mike's personal favorites and the perfect spot if you're looking for fun vibes, an extensive list of taco options & refreshing margaritas. The atmosphere, beer garden and craft cocktails at New Holland Brewing Knickerbocker are also hard to beat (We went there for our first date ! )

Millennium Park

1415 Maynard Avenue Southwest, Walker, MI 49534

Millennium Park is one of our favorite places to go for a walk or hike. Millennium Park offers an extensive network of trails totaling about 18 miles in length with six miles of frontage on the Grand River. Facilities within the park include a six-acre beach and splashpad, boat rental facilities, nearly 18 miles of trails, and other diverse opportunities for recreation and relaxation.
