FAQs

Question

Where should I fly into?

Answer

The Columbia Metropolitan Airport (CAE) would be the closest airport to our venue. The Charlotte Douglas International (CLT), and Charleston International (CHS) airports are all within a 3 hour drive to the venue.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We are still working on reserving a hotel block at this time. The nearest hotels to the venue are the Quality Inn & Suites, Comfort Suites, and Holiday Inn Express & Suites, all located on West Main Street in Lexington, SC. Alternatively, we would recommend checking out Airbnb to find options nearby. There are some cute places to stay on Lake Murray as well. Just make sure you are looking on the Lexington/Gilbert side of the lake. If you need any help at all finding accommodations, please do not hesitate to reach out.

Question

How and when do I RSVP?

Answer

We are using our website to RSVP online by February 28th, 2025. The link can be found on the RSVP tab of this website!

Question

What is the start and end time of the wedding?

Answer

Our ceremony will start promptly at 6:00pm. We ask that all guests arrive by 5:30 to ensure that everyone is able to be seated prior to the ceremony beginning. The reception will end at 10:30 pm.

Question

Will there be parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, our venue has a spacious parking lot. Please keep in mind that cars are not able to remain parked at the venue overnight. Please be mindful that there will be a full bar, so carpool with a designated driver or Uber if you plan to drink alcohol.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We respectfully ask that only those listed on the invitation attend our special day. Thank you for your understanding!

Question

Can we bring our Children?

Answer

This is an adult only event. Only children in attendance will be the ones in the wedding. Please keep in mind that there will be alcohol served as well as dance music played later in the night. As a West Virginia Mountaineer Fan we will be playing "Sweet Caroline." You have been warned. Google It.

Question

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

Answer

We will be serving a variety of Southern Style cuisine as well as wedding cake for dessert.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, there will be an open, full bar. They will serve non-alcoholic soda, water, tea, coffee, wine, beer, and liquor. There will be 2 signature cocktails as well. However, there will be no "shots" served. Please make sure you have a safe way home if you plan to drink. Our venue does not allow any outside alcohol.
