Once upon a digital connection, our story began on the vast landscapes of Facebook. Kameche kangaroo'd (jumped) in my inbox and said, “Hey sir! You SO fine…I want to make you mine!” She knew it was destiny and she told me that she found her prize… Well…I better let someone else right this before I get in trouble LOL While Arthur’s rendition of how they met is exaggerated to say the least. They did meet on the pages of Facebook in the middle of COVID. While scrolling, he sees a post from a woman who was SO excited to return back to work. This caught his attention because he never saw a post from her and who’s excited to go back to work?! Fast forward, months later, Arthur is scrolling through his feed again and sees a post requesting donations to feed families for Thanksgiving. He remembered that this was the same lady that was excited to go back to work. This woman was Kameche. Arthur gave a donation to Kameche to support the families and she responded with a message thanking him. Their conversation has flowed endlessly ever since! It didn’t start with love on either of their minds, but being intentionally present and open with one another. Their first date unfolded at a coffee shop, where they met in person for the first time. Amidst the aroma of coffee and a full room, they laughed and talked for hours as time seemed to stand still while they discovered more about one another. They shared their love for God, their children, family, friends, travel, and fulfilling purpose. From the beginning, Arthur and Kameche felt like long-lost friends. Through much conversation, they discovered that they shared many of the same values and desires. Through traveling, the world became their playground and every journey strengthened their bond. Amidst the exploration of new horizons, their love for God served as the compass that has guided them. Their story, a fusion of shared values and devotion, is a testament to the beauty that unfolds when two hearts align with shared values, purpose, faith, and love. We’re so excited for you to celebrate our “I do” in April 2024. See you soon!
