We're so excited to share a few of our favorite places in Spokane and the surrounding area with you! If you are planning to extend your trip for Labor Day Weekend, here are some suggestions.

Manito Park

Manito Park and Botanical Garden is a beautiful 90-acre public park located in Spokane's South Hill neighborhood. Manito Park features an arboretum, botanical gardens, spacious lawns, walking and biking paths, and a conservatory.

Gonzaga University

Visit Gonzaga University's beautiful campus where Sean and Kalleigh both attended college.

Jack & Dan's Bar & Grill

Located in the University District, Jack and Dan's Tavern is the local spot to watch a sports game, meet up after work for a drink, or get together with your friends and family. Featuring 22 beers on tap, Washington local wines, and full-cocktail service.

Riverfront Park

There's so much to do in the Riverfront Park Area! Right in the heart of downtown Spokane, the park is truly spectacular in any season. Ride the classic 1909 Looff Carousel, go skating on the 650-foot long Numerica Skate Ribbon, walk the centennial trail, then fly over Spokane Falls on the Numerica SkyRide. On the weekends after dark, you can enjoy the Pavilion Light Show for free.

Riverside State Park - Bowl and Pitcher

Riverside State Park consists of trails and hikes along the Spokane and Little Spokane rivers. Recreational opportunities include mountain biking, horseback riding, hiking, boating, and more!

Mount Spokane

Nestled in the richly forested Selkirk Mountains with 100 miles of trails, Mount Spokane offers both summer and winter recreation and has something for everyone!

Green Bluff

Green Bluff is north of downtown Spokane and beckons a visit to pick all manner of fruit and vegetables, feast on fresh foods, frolic at a festival or just enjoy a day in lush farm country. The address above is Walter's Fruit Ranch, but there are over 33 family owned orchards, farms, ranches, wineries, and a wide assortment of family-style entertainment in the area.
