For our guests who have never attended a traditional Ugandan ceremony, they are colorful, festive, and filled with music, food and dancing!

Omwogezi is a Kwanjula wedding officiant, or emcee, who will lead the ceremony. There will be two spokespersons to represent each family and even heckle the groom and his friends. Music and dancing are weaved throughout the ceremony.

Our immediate families will be dressed in a traditional Busuuti or Kanzu, which is uniform attire. That means there is an assigned color for our families, parents and bridal party. However, our guests can wear whatever semi-formal clothes they feel comfortable in.

We will also be serving traditional Ugandan food. If you've never had it, please come willing to try something new!
