Driving to the Ceremony & Reception

Answer

We encourage guests driving to the ceremony to drive directly to the McGregor Conference Center. Parking will be provided at WSU Parking Structure 1 off W Palmer Ave. Please know it requires a short 4 minute walk. There is plenty of room at the Opera House for parking. We will pass out parking passes at the ceremony and ask that our younger and able guests park in the parking garage so that others may use the flat lot for a shorter walk.

Is there a dress code?

In true Opera fashion, we ask you to wear your best Black-Tie (optional) attire to spend an evening in the city at one of Detroit's oldest venues and largest rooftop! We ask that men wear a tuxedo or a dark suit and tie and women wear an evening or midi-length dress.

Are kids welcome?

We love your little ones, but we kindly invite you to enjoy a parents' night out with us!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Only if your formal invitation says "and Guest" or your date's name. Unfortunately, due to space limitations, we cannot fit all of our guests to bring a guest of their own.
