Here is something you need to know: If you are traveling from out of state to Hawaii, you are not required to get the COVID 19 vaccination. However, you are required to get a negative test 72 hours before your flight and sign up for the safe travels registration on the hawaii.gov site you can find here: https://travel.hawaii.gov/#/registration Getting the vaccination does not mean you do not have to get tested, it only means you do not have to quarantine. At the wedding site: Please bring/wear a mask (these will be optional at the reception) Seating is limited but will also be spaced out more for social distancing. Temperatures will be taken. If you have a temperature of 102 do not attend. We want you to be feeling well and taking care of yourself. <3
Aloha everyone! We are so excited to celebrate with you! Here is some information on our event: Ceremony is at 5:00pm that's when I will be walking down the aisle so please be there 20 min prior. We could be starting early! Ceremony will be at Gannon's Ocean View Lawn 100 Wailea Golf Club Dr. Wailea, HI 96753 THIS IS AN UNPLUGGED CEREMONY - meaning please respect the couple's wishes with no photos or video please. We have a photographer and videographer for this reason and we promise to share. Please be present with us in the moment so we don't see a sea of phones in front of your faces. The Reception is no longer at the Gannon's restaurant. It will be held at 7:00pm-9:00pm at a secondary location: 650 Lipoa Parkway Kihei, HI 96753 You will know when you get there when you see the banner indicating so. THIS IS A PLUGGED IN RECEPTION - meaning you are welcome to take photos and video. Use our hashtag to share your experience that evening! :) It may be a little breezy in the evening so maybe bring a light jacket. There will be music so bring your comfy shoes for dancey dancey! It is BYOB so if you want some alcoholic beverage you are to bring it. We will have a non alcoholic hydration station set up. There will be dinner! It will be a self serve buffet style of local food meaning Kalua pork, bbq chicken, fried rice, salad, veggies, haupia and ice cream for dessert. If you don't like this selection you are welcome to eat before hand. There will be tables for you to set your plates or cups down at, however, SEATING IS LIMITED so mingle and dance at your leisure! :) We look forward to celebrating with you! Do not be afraid to come say hi to us! :)
Now I know we are all tired of hearing about it. However, I was made aware by my wedding coordinator of these requirements and I have to share them with my guests who plan on coming. ___________________________________________________________________________ The State Requirements for weddings: Everybody needs to wear a mask (signs must be posted to social distance) -When you arrive, your temperature will be checked (anyone over 102 can not not attend) -You must provide your name, State, and contact info -You will be seated with those in your family unit, then you can remove mask when eating only Please let your guests know these rules __________________________________________________________________ Kaleb and I will not be wearing masks during the ceremony and my coordinator has said that there are exceptions. Our wedding party probably doesn't have to wear them during the ceremony either. Masks are not required during photos I know this makes no sense. Basically, this is the jist: bring a mask, wear it when you arrive. We are onsite of a vendor. Seating will be more spaced out. My coordinator will be taking contactless temperatures upon arrival as required. And I say this next statement with love: If you are running a temperature, stay back at your hotel/condo room and just rest. I want you healthy and feeling well above all else. Do not come to the ceremony. We will understand. We will still love you. ** Note the last requirement says "remove masks only when about to eat" don't worry about that, we will be holding an after party celebration off-site. Yes, Changes have been made! We are no longer holding a reception at Gannon's golf and restaurant.
Aloha Friends and Family, We hope you can make it to our ceremony. We know things have changed and we have made some changes regarding our celebration as well. We want you to know that if you are unable to travel to the islands for any reason to attend our wedding, we accept your decision and we love you. Next, for those of you who reside in Idaho or Utah and will not be attending the ceremony, we still want to celebrate with you, which is why we are going to hold a reception/celebration in Idaho. We will be reaching out to you as soon as we have figured out the details. At the moment those are to be determined. Thirdly, if you ARE attending the wedding, things have changed. The reception will not be held at Gannon's restaurant following the ceremony. We have decided we want to have a party to celebrate with our friends and family who are able to come. Please contact us if you are attending next year! I hear that airline prices are low right now. Love, Elizabeth and Kaleb (Wilstead)
Aloha Friends and Family! We want to update you by letting you know that we have made the decision to postpone our ceremony for one year. This is due to the virus outbreak and concern around traveling. We know that several of our guests will be traveling, as well as ourselves to this destination wedding and some of you are uncles/aunts/grandparents. We want everyone to be healthy and safe during this time. Though this is disappointing, we believe that things fall into place the way it's supposed to, and this gives us as well as others more time to preapre and save. We hope you can still make it to our wedding! Mark your calendars for July 20, 2021!
2015 We met at a scavenger hunt at UHMC. We found each other without knowing we were looking for one another. We became friends and about a year later we started to go to lunches and get to know one another until she asked him, "So when are you gonna take me on a real date?" And that was that. One week later we had our first date 2-4-16 2016 We had many adventures from hiking bamboo forest to lavender fields and strawberry picking and pumpkin picking, and a helicopter ride. We attended each others college graduations at UHMC. 2017 Kaleb was accepted into nursing school at College of Southern Idaho. We had a long distance relationship for one year while Elizabeth worked and saved to move to Idaho. They said that would be difficult, but we prevailed. 2018 We moved into our first apartment together in Twin Falls. They said this would make or break us, but we prevailed. 2019 Kaleb graduated nursing school and spoke for his class. Kaleb proposed to Elizabeth (spoiler alert! She said yes!) 2020 We say our "I do's". We can't wait to share our special day with you! Please RSVP so we know who is coming! Whether you can come, or you're unable to we want to say thank you for supporting us as individuals and supporting us as a couple.
