We're getting married!!!

We met freshman year of high school, in 2011, in our investigative science class. We hardly talked, mostly because Kaitlyn was too shy to make her move. Flash forward to senior year, we passed by each other every single day. It wasn’t until Austin got a new hair cut where he really grabbed Kaitlyn’s attention. She got his number and he repeatedly asked her out (but she was too scared 😂). We finally went on a coffee and hiking date and completely hit it off! We talked for hours and it felt like we knew each other our whole lives. The rest is history! ❤️

Austin was playing professional baseball in Michigan. During the summer, we would see each other and Kaitlyn would go out to visit. Shortly after school got out for the year, Austin said Kaitlyn was randomly drawn to throw out the first pitch during one of the games in the stadium. We practiced in his host families front yard, preparing for throwing out the first pitch in front of thousands of people. Kaitlyn should have known something was up when Austin spilt his entire smoothie all over the floor (because he wad sooo nervous to pop the question 😂❤️). After throwing out the first pitch, the music changed to marry you by Bruno Mars. The announcer said, “Wait a minute”, Austin pointed to the Jumbotron that said “Will you marry me”, with pictures of us from high school and recently. When she turned back around, Austin was on one knee waiting with the most beautiful ring. The stadium roared with clapping and cheering, as Kaitlyn said yes, with a little happy dance and all! Austin had the professional photographer and videographer from the baseball league capture the entire thing, as well as start the live stream for the game early so our family across the US could watch in real time. It was a magical day! ❤️
