When should I RSVP by?

Absolutely! Please make a note of this in your RSVP form.

Is there a dress code?

Our wedding will be formal, so suits or sports coats for men and cocktail or evening gowns for women.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As much as we love all of the children in our lives, unless specifically invited, we will not be allowing children. Thank you for your understanding with this!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please keep in mind that our ceremony will begin promptly at 5PM so that we can get our night started! Two shuttles will be available to bring guests from the hotel to the venue, one at 3:50PM and one at 4:30PM. If you are choosing to drive, there is a parking lot across the street. If needed, overnight parking is allowed.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Yes, multiple shuttles will be provided throughout the night. See below: From the Chicago Marriott Northwest Hotel to the venue: 3:50PM, 4:30PM From the venue to the Chicago Marriott Northwest Hotel: 10:00PM, 11:00PM, 11:30PM, 11:45PM, 12:00AM

Where is the entrance of the venue?

You can find the entrance to The Highland Loft on East Highland Avenue. Please enter through the double doors, and you can find two sets of elevators on the right. Our ceremony and cocktail hour are on the second floor, while dinner and dancing will be on the third floor.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We would love to have an unplugged ceremony, meaning we are asking that everyone be prepared to put away and silence all electronic devices and refrain from taking pictures or video throughout the entirety of the ceremony. We will have an amazing wedding photographer who will be capturing our ceremony.
