You always hear of a lot of people who have a high school sweetheart and get married a little after college and act like they live in their own world and blah, blah, blah, and I'm here to tell you that yes this is one of those stories, so suck it up. We had been in the same homeroom for all of high school and never spoke until junior year. We were not complete strangers since we knew of each other since third grade. We slowly started to talk to each other more and hang out and things seem to have just sparked from there. We were both goofy and had the same sense of humor and gave each other the best vibes. When we told everyone we were dating everyone was SHOCKED. No one expected us of all people to get together out of the blue. Everyone quickly learned that we were so compatible and could see how much love and care we had for each other. Years later everyone is still amazed that we are still together even after high school but we did not care. We stuck through senior year and a pandemic together and we still continue to defy the odds. We have been through so much together such as college (online and on campus), getting a house together, and much more. We cannot wait to get our lives started together as a married couple.
